    Thread Compatibility with Jawbone Up24

Has anyone used the XZU with Jawbone's Up24 (the bluetooth version)? It's not on Jawbone's official compatibility list (the Z1 is). You need to sideload the Up app but that's easy enough. Unfortunately I can't find a store with a demo model to test it out myself.

Post [Q] Moga controller and Z Ultra.

I haven't experienced a heat issue with the screen at all. The phone itself gets slightly warm when running intensive games but that's it. Does the issue happen at all brightness settings?

Post C68: Black screen / no wake up from sleep mode

I had SOD the other day running 257 :( It's only happened once in the two weeks I've owned the device though, hopefully a one off.

    Post SBH 52

I haven't owned it but came to the same conclusion, as: A) For taking calls like a handset, if I'm going to carry a small second device in my pocket it might as well be something I can easily attach to my ear when a call comes in (a mono BT headset), so I can use both hands if I want to use my Z...

Post [HOW-TO] ROOT 14.1.B.2.257 and poosibly newer Sony Roms

So I'm on the new firmware... and don't have a TA backup that I'd like to have before unlocking the bootloader in case I decide to revert... which requires root to obtain... so I'm stuck for now? Is there a way to obtain temporary root?

    Post [ROM][IMM76L][4.0.4][AOSP] ICS333 2.0.1 | Team 3xtr3m3 | Fast,stable,easy (6/7/2012)

Agreed. I have had no FC issues since installing this and then following the first post, seeing which apps are taking up the most space (see the last question in that thread's FAQ) and moving some of them as per the instructions (then reboot). A very slight reduction in speed for much improved...

    Post [ROM][IMM76L][4.0.4][AOSP] ICS333 2.0.1 | Team 3xtr3m3 | Fast,stable,easy (6/7/2012)

IMEI Fantastic ROM. Mine's another handset that lost its IMEI when I first installed the ROM (v1.1). Not a problem though, EFS was backed up properly, 2 seconds to fix. Haven't tried 2.0 yet, will when I get a spare moment. One thing I'd love to see is the option to set the states available...

Thread Boot and shut down animation speed

I installed my carrier's latest firmware, and they've gone and installed custom boot and shut down animations. That didn't seem like such a big problem, I see from the CSC files list that they replaced bootsamsung.qmg and shutdown.qmg (the looping 'S' animation at the end of the boot would still...

Post [online KITCHEN] *ROM Kitchen* 10/5: Ginger JVH 2.3.3 up

Post [online KITCHEN] *ROM Kitchen* 10/5: Ginger JVH 2.3.3 up

Updated Australian CSCs Here is the latest OPS (Optus Australia) CSC from the Optus FroYo release; the current one being used in the ROM generator is from the Eclair JG4 release, though the changes were not significant. Also included is the latest XSA CSC, which is from Virgin Australia.

Response to requests You can check if it's an issue for that theme using instructions from the first post, and please contact the creator first if it is. If they are unwilling to offer a fix after that, then contact me again. Cheers. Sorry, which theme are you referring to? Done for all...

Post [MOD] Darky's ROM signal strength corrected

Response to comments The issue is caused by a few png's. That I chose to offer people a way to correct this hardly means I'm offering a theme. Doc, I use your ROMs and have a lot of respect for you as a result, but I think this line of reasoning that you're pursuing is really quite poor...

Post [MOD] Darky's ROM signal strength corrected

If Darky's ROM were only a theme I would agree. As it stands, in this forum section there is a ROM that modifies the way signal strength is reported, an issue people should be aware of for the ROM. This thread then offers a solution for people who don't want it to do that, which is not the same...

Post [MOD] Darky's ROM signal strength corrected

I didn't intend for this thread to be about people's opinions of Darky's ROM, for or against, outside of the signal strength issue. If we're being reasonable, I think we can all agree that the ROM has its strengths and weaknesses. It would be appreciated if people try to limit discussion to the...

I tried running a search of the thread for this, but had no luck. Obviously I'm not going to read through the whole thing :p Can Darky or anyone else answer me - why are the phone and wifi signal bars boosted by one bar except for full and empty? I don't see the point, it just gives you less...

Post [MOD] Taste Nexus S Gingerbread on Galaxy S v6 - network (unstable) - tech DEMO

I think the OP should be updated to advise people that recovery mode cannot be accessed, especially now that the nsonsgs kernel has a CWM version. Was fun to try, can confirm data was working for me (Optus-Aus) (double check your APN settings - mine needed a slight tweak before data started...

Post Program Monitor Widget in non TW Launcher

Me too (running Galaxy S I9000 though). I had a play around, found I could run it as an 'activity' in LauncherPro, but only running in its own little screen, not as a widget. Had a play around with the apk and some basic dev tools, considered either copying the app but making it a regular widget...
