Yea which one of the OPs is the closest to if we purchased one of the GE phones for AT&T or T-Mobile .... Ill check out the PureG, I jsut cant take Touchwiz any more its driving me nuts. Also would you guys say they are good enough for a daily driver?

Looks like Rom Manager got an update yesterday, so now it supports Clockwork for Verizon. Thanks for the feedback and I wanted to update here in case anyone else had an issue.

I know this may be a real dumb question .... but did this install a recovery? I see people talking about TWRP and Clockwork .... in the past I have used Rom Manager to install Clockwork, but that doesn't seem to work on this phone. Any links or feedback would rock BTW I tried install...

Yea when it was giving me a notification to update the binary automatically which I was doing, but I skipped the part about opening the app. Once I did that it asked me to update the binary again. Once I did this it held root. :good:

So I found a PC to do this on and followed the steps without issue, however every time I flash back the stock kernel I lose root. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone have a guide for how to do this on a Mac? I dont have access to a Windows machine at home.

My bad .. .should have been more clear on this ... I cant do a back up since I dont have root so then I have to re-download everything and reset up my launcher, ect.

Still stock, non-rooted. ..... this is one of the reasons I didnt want to do a factory reset.

No ideas .... I guess Im the only one having this issue???

Hi guys I have looked and looked but cant seem to find this out. On my Xoom (currently 4.0.4) I have two google accounts. One of them is old and has been disabled but for the life of me I cant figue out how to remove it. What am I missing?

Hey guys having a bit of a issue. I have two WiFi Xooms I use at my office, they both downloaded the update the first one installed with issue, but the 2nd one installs the update and then it reboots 2 times shows something about unlocking the boot loader an then restarts back in to honeycomb...

Anyone know where I can find the update zip? Im still stock, and want to keep it that way for the time being.

Ahhh ... Thanks for the reply. Where can I download the update? My phone has one of the leaked versions on it flashed through the Samsung Flashing tool, but ideally right at this moment I would like to put the phone back to full stock with the latest update.

Thanks for the reply. I pretty much did that last night but when I tried to do the Fix Permissions it asked me what size .... it was really weird. I ended up doing a factory reset / data wipe as well as the rest and its working great now, only dumb thing on my part was I forgot to do a back...

Ok guys ... Tried some stuff... Removed all programs I installed, also un froze all the bloatware. Restarted and still no luck. I then re flashed the kernal and no luck and then flashed the over clock one and still no luck. At this point Im ready to do a full restore back to non-rooted...
