    I have the sm-t217a that has been updated to 4.4.2. I lost my root and thus my free tethering, until now. There is no root available for this device yet. I was able to use the paid version of foxfi and pdanet and could usb and Bluetooth tether, but that takes a cord and Bluetooth is slower...
