Post Need advice on getting a Used nexus 5

I recently bought a used Nexus 5 on Swappa for 165 USD, however it has a bad ESN. Be sure to thoroughly check if the phone is functional, a Nexus 5 for that cheap will likely have a crack on the screen or a bad ESN. Regardless, the phone should be bootloader unlockable and able to flash custom...

Post [Q] Messing with ROMs on UCUFNB1

I have also tried a Lollipop ROM, specifically the GPE one, with no luck. We unfortunately cannot use Cyanogenmod, due to the locked bootloader which prevents using custom kernels (SafeStrap is like a workaround, with some limitations). It's only a matter of time before the official Lollipop...

    Post [Q] Buying a Moto G, got questions :)

In practice you should not have too much issues performance-wise with the Moto G if you use it as stated (music and messaging apps). However, you will feel the limitations of 1 GB RAM if you try to do something like simultaneously run Google Play Music and Google Maps GPS navigation...

Post [Q] Is Cyanogenmod available for Moto G 4G LTE?

It's possible that it might not be part of the unified builds for CM11, as it has a different codename, "peregrine" vs "falcon" (for the 3G Moto G variants). In the meantime, don't risk bricking your device until official support comes.

Post [Rom] [4.4.3] Official Cyanogenmod 11 for Moto G

There is a fix for the unknown number issue in settings. You have to manually put in your phone number within the phone app settings. I forget which part of the settings in the phone app but it's a relatively easy fix.

Post DBrand skins for moto g!

The front skins do not come with a screen protector. You would have to make sure that the screen protector has the right cutouts, otherwise there will be parts of the skin that don't adhere to a surface.

Post DBrand skins for moto g!

Dbrand black titanium skin I got the black titanium skin in the mail yesterday. It fits very well with the Moto G and really does enhance grip. I noticed that due to the shape of the actual sticker, these can also be applied to the grip shells that Motorola sells for those who want added...

Post Do you use a case?

Although I don't use an actual case, I still protect my Moto G with a tempered glass protector. I also applied a Dbrand black titanium skin to the stock black cover to give the phone a premium feel and grip.

    Post [FAQ][ROM] Cyanogenmod 11 for Moto G

CM 11 M6 appears to have no issues with OTG. I used a Meenova micro SD card reader and was able to unmount through storage settings every time I needed to remove it to charge my device. I was unable however to access my voicemail, so I'm back to stock kitkat

Post DBrand skins for moto g!

These skins look really good on the moto g, except for the ones covering the front of the device which look tacky in my opinion. I ordered the black titanium skin for my moto g. It should make the stock black cover easier to grip and less prone to grease smudges. Looking forward to seeing some...

    Post [Q] SGH-467. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 rooting/ROMs.

Below are two methods that allow you to gain root access on the AT&T Galaxy Note 8.0. They do not install custom recoveries, which you would need to install any custom ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2660738 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2430540 The...

Post what a sad thing it is, I now return to stock rom due to use of bluetooth headset

Which ROMs were you using? CM 11? I have an N5110 that also gave me issues with bluetooth (both a headset and an audio adapter). I found that changing the governor under performance options did the trick. I changed it from the default pegasusq to ondemand. The performance one also fixed the...

    Thread CM 11 BT audio

Hi guys I have been using CM 11 on my Galaxy Note 8.0 for some time, since I prefer the stock UI to TouchWiz. It is also convenient to be able to mount an NTFS formatted external drive w/o any third party solution. However, I noticed that BT audio skips quite a bit to the point where it would...
