Thread Green Onion for Xperia Z Tablet

Just an FYI for anyone wanting a quality screen protector until they come out with tempered glass (fingers crossed). The Green Onion designed for the original Xperia tablet works perfectly with the Z2 tablet...

Post [Q] Broke LTE After Rooting

Speed tests and network status both indicate nothing more than HSPA+ speeds (AT&T SIM showing at the most 6 up and 3 down).

Thread [Q] Broke LTE After Rooting

Hello everyone. Hoping someone has experience with this, as I am very unfamiliar with the whole process of rooting on Sony. I rooted my unlocked C6903 using the NUT method. First, flashed the dualrecovery and then downloaded C6903_14.2.A.0.681.flashable.zip which I put on the SD card and...

    Post [Q] Enable T-Mobile LTE on SGH-I467

Affirmative. I am wondering if the issue might have something to do with the fix that was discovered for the Note 2 relating to the QCN...

    Post [Q] Enable T-Mobile LTE on SGH-I467

Correct assumption :) I am getting H+, albeit speeds not as impressive as I might get on a full blown T-Mo device. But it works...

    Thread [Q] Enable T-Mobile LTE on SGH-I467

My area has the refarmed T-Mobile LTE but the device is AT&T. Correct modem but not tuned to use the refarmed frequencies. Anyone have any luck or know how to enable the device to use the T-Mobile LTE bands? Not quite as simple as going into the OS menu and setting "LTE/GSM/CDMA Preferred."

Thread [Q] Freeze OTA Firmware Updates?

Fortunate enough to have read the threads before updating my firmware before rooting! Now that I have successfully rooted, I was wondering if anyone knows of a sure-fire way of disabling or freezing the firmware update process? I am able to do this on my Note 2 by using Titanium to freeze the...

    Thread [Q] T-Mobile Stock ROM/Modem/Kernel on Unlocked AT&T

Running in to some issues and hoping someone might have had some luck... I have an unlocked and rooted AT&T Note 2. Attempted to flash the T-Mobile (Stock) ROM/Modem/Kernel on the device using Clockwork. Cleared the cache and dalvik cache prior to and after flashing the ROM. After restarting...

Post Is This root for AT&T Safe to do?

Thanks for the responses. To clarify... I *want* OTA updates. I don't mind the stock ROMs (as long as I have root to freeze bloatware) pushed from AT&T. Note 2 rooted changed the device to "modified" and when OTA updates were available, they could not be downloaded or installed. Hence, I had to...

Post Is This root for AT&T Safe to do?

Does anyone know if this root method will prevent future OTA updates? I had my Note 2 rooted and had to go through hell and high water to search and install rooted/deodexed updates each time they were pushed out, as a result of rooting the device.
