    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][ginkgo][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Redmi Note 8 / 8T

I'm not receiving OTA updates. Still running the build from November 7. Currently using TWRP, Magisk (for the Hide module) and MicroG. Beg your pardon if this question has been answered before but does Magisk or MicroG have anything to do with me not getting the updates?

Why don't you guys use the tigr port? It's tailored for this device and so far it's been working flawless here, no setup required. Just downloaded de apk and installed.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][ginkgo][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Redmi Note 8 / 8T

No problem with whatsapp calls, audio or apps crashing. But yeah, I'm experiencing this 15 second delay and I thought it had something to do with my carrier services.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][ginkgo][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Redmi Note 8 / 8T

You're right, 2faraway2, It's only showing a red circle on fourth screen. Maybe I experienced a placebo effect by doing the changes listed in my previous post. I've found a github commit to bring back Glonass and another one for Beidou. Edit: I'm now seeing some small blue dots on first and...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][ginkgo][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Redmi Note 8 / 8T

Spent a whole weekend with this ROM and so far it's pretty stable. No Airplane mode resets, sensors working fine, Wifi, Bluetooth. All the apps are working with microG. Battery consumption is definitely improved. My only issue now is the navigation/location services. Yes, I'm having the exact...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][ginkgo][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Redmi Note 8 / 8T

I can't wait to use this ROM but at the same time I'm worried about stability. Right now this base firmware question and the reboots on airplane mode are the only things holding me back. My phone is still on MIUI 11.0.11. No update yet. Wonder if I'll experience any major bugs because of that.

Post Small microSD card reader for USB-OTG, works with Moto G

Finally ordered a Meenova. Wonder how many days it will take to deliver in Brazil. Can't wait to watch my programming tutorials, Walking Dead and Game of Thrones episodes while I'm on the bus. :fingers-crossed:

Post [NSFW] POST Your MOTO G HomeScreen and Details

As simple as it can be. Just Nova Launcher Prime, Tesla Unread (for the unread counters), Yahoo Weather and Google Agenda to remind me of my commitments.

HDR ON and I must be doing something wrong. Shapes seems a little messy. Also, the colors are very strange. I'll keep practicing. :good:

Post Small microSD card reader for USB-OTG, works with Moto G

So just to clarify. If you have a Moto G with Kit Kat and no root than all you need is a third party file manager app to acess your files?

What settings did you use in the last two photos? Also, the first one with the keyboard have the colors kinda washed out. I prefer the second one.

That one looks dark for an open and sunny environment. Is that Copacabana's Posto 8?

Post From Which Phone to the Moto G?

Wanna give my old LG P500 some rest. I think it's time for me to move into a more capable device but at the same time I don't want to spend a little fortune on smartphones. Just when I was in the middle of this (apparently) impossible situation Motorola came out with the Moto G. I'm planning...

    Post Replacement camera app

The Moto G camera is not that bad in my opinion. The reviews made me belive it was terrible. It's definitely not the best camera in the market, but for casual photos it can handle pretty well. And you can still use all those photo editing apps to make some color correction and etc. This topic...

Post Post pics taken with Motorola MOTO G

I see. I was having a hard time deciding between the Moto G and the Moto X. The later costs R$ 1300,00 in Brazil and the G is something around the R$ 600,00. Was considering to pay the extra bucks only for the X better camera. We have to consider that we also dispose of a plethora of photo...

Post Post pics taken with Motorola MOTO G

Thanks for the photos. I've been looking for some samples for a while. I'm planning to buy a Moto G in the next few weeks to give my old LG P500 some rest. The reviews made me think the camera was a piece of garbage and unusable. But seen the pictures I think it's just fine. I rarely expect...

    Post extended battery

I was wondering if anyone is using one of these batteries for the LG P500. I know the battery will fit but not the cover, so I just want to know how the phone will look like (pictures would be great) and how is the final results. I'm considering getting one of these and use the phone without...
