If I wanted to give that kernel a try, is it flashed in recovery like most things? I've never had a need to flash a different kernel before, so just making sure.

My VZW Note 3 crashes at random and reboots. No real trend other than I'll be right in the middle of something and everything will freeze. Can't turn screen off or back out of task at hand. Phone reboots about 15-20 seconds later. Still running 12.2. Is this a kernel issue?

Just adding, for those having this problem, that the above did not work for me. I tried GPS lock along with a handful of other navigation apps circumventing Google Maps. GPS did not work for any of them. Only thing that fixed it for me was overwriting the gps.conf script with the new one provided.

Agreed. It's all cool about the new rom coming to (hopefully) dazzle the masses. In the meantime, however, I think BajaROM and it's support thread should've remained active. I'm having quirky issues with it and have no where to go for the kind of support the original thread offered.

Thanx for the replies. I'm still using Baja at present. But, the hype I'm reading about Alliance has me thinking I'll give it a shot when it drops. For now, I get good enough battery life out of Baja. Granted I'm not on my phone constantly, I usually charge the Note 3 every other night.
