OK, good point. But it used to work before. Anyway, ADB is not working in stock recovery also. I found out while trying to sideload an OTA.

Hello. I managed to install RemixOS in my Asus Transformer Book T100TAM, and so far I'm loving it. But I can't get the touchscreen to work, any hints? Also, I'd like to turn off the option to tap-to-click, because I keep clicking accidentaly. Is it possible? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Today it was released for the regular GT-I9500 for both INU and INS product codes (without BE stuff, of course).

Technically is for Black Edition only, but since BE and regular have the exact same hardware, it's fully compatible with the regular GT-I9500. If you do a correct install (where the phone boots to recovery and changes the CSC) you'll get the BE goodies.

danveer is right. This won't OTA for a regular GT-I9500, only for Black Edition (because of specific CSC). If you didn't root or modify your phone, try booting in Recovery Mode and clearing the cache. That should do it.

Same bootloader screen as 4.3. Can't say about root, because there isn't one yet, but there's the same line (System Status: Official). Sadly, there's no ART.

Be aware that is a branded firmware, and will install a lot of crap.

Besides is branded (Telecom Personal). There's a new ML1 firmware for Argentina, but it's also branded.

Do you have the white icons in statusbar? If you don't, with a custom recovery, go to "Mounts and Storage" and do all the formats (data, system, cache, preload). Then reinstall the firmware. If you do have the white icons, maybe you have to change something in Settings for the icon to appear.

Depends of your definition of "safe". Root works just fine, but you get Warranty Bit: 1. It meants your warranty might be permanently void, and you won't be able to run the Knox container. Not a deal breaker for me.

You make a good point, and I understand it. But some of us want to remove EVERYTHING, and it's a chore to do it manually. If you could do an optional script, it would be great. If you can't or don't want to, I understand. Thank you for the great list. :)

Can't flash it. I get "Status 6" with PhilZ Touch. :( UPDATE: I replaced the boot.img in the MJ5 zip with the new one, and it works great. :)

Sorry to intrude, but I'm having the same issue. Flashed the .zip from third method using PhilZ Touch, and the screen goes black. You have to force reboot the phone with the power button, and it boots into PhilZ. UPDATE: The file posted by gp545 in post #36 works. :)
