So has the youtube issue been fixed - can we update the youtube app on the Sprint variant?

I had the exact same problem...and since im on the original firmware. (51.1.1.0) i did Nothing. I stopped using the fire tv. Im just now getting around to completely wiping, re--rooting, and going to install a newer firmware to try to fix it.

Anyone else experiencing wonky auto-brightness too? Sometimes ill lay on the couch during the DAY and it lowers itself to 0%, and other times when im in bed at night with all the lights off, and the damn thing will be at 30% ..?

I did the mod last week... i might be one of the lucky few, but the phone never used to shut down or overheat badly..but idle is now betweek 38-41C and on high load/benchmark is between 54-59C. Very easy to do...i had thermal paste lying around, but had to buy .8mm copper shims from amazon

I do have spark, but unsure of the 2.5ghz. IM in the LA region, valley area. The 3g on this phone is HORRIBLE compared to the S3 and S4. even on 3g those two phones were usable...not this puppy. Damn thing doesnt pull any data unless its on LTE. Can i reflash the zva modem by itself? Stock ZVA...

Hey guys, Iv got a stock US tablet Z, SGP311 on 10.4.1.b.0.109 Iv tried holding power and volume + while booting to get into stock recovery, iv tried tapping Vol+ a few times while booting, iv tried holdin Vol+ for 3 seconds and then hitting power......i cant get this damn thing into recovery...

i have a similar problem with the 16gb...which i didnt buy brand new. But i did get the updae from 4.2 to 4.3 when i bought it, and i believe its a dirty update issue. Im going to wipe/restore it to make sure im running clean...usually fixes things on the Galaxy s3/s4 devices..........

Oh, and for the Sprint variant, i disabled/froze some LG apps, Sprint apps, and 'VuTalk". Boosted my battery life like crazy....

There are alot of apps that are constantly pinging the network that could be causing the extra battery draw I.E Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, dating apps, Hangouts, Skype, Drive, Box, Dropbox and any other messaging apps that go outside of basic text messaging through the carrier Edit: Or...

So the wifi fix works for a short time.... and just stops working. I don't even have to reboot, it will stop after a random amount of time.

Mines been acting the exact same way...altho mine has not had problems before needing to be sent to Samsung. 2 weeks ago it just started not going into 4g as much as it used to...and RANDOMLY totally dropping any data connection 10x a day. Literally no 3g/4g for 2+ minutes at a time..no amount...

Hey Guys, This just randomly started after the MF9 update i think....my ringtones are super quiet, even if i turn it up 50%, up to 80%. More than that is where it becomes decent and I can hear my phone ring. Anyone else experiencing this weirdness?? :confused:

Ever since flashing this, my phone 'forgets' all of the wifi spots ive connected to before. Wifi will be working when im at home, and I go to work. I have to reenter my password for the work WIFI spot, and when i go home, its forgotten the home WIFI spot.....anyone else? any solutions?

I had the same issue too....seems to me if i get a text message while listening to music or youtube.....the volume will be low until i restart that app or the phone....really strange..

Which parts of LA, i dont get that at all. ....In fact, I dont get 4g in most parts of the San Fernando Valley, little pockets here and there in No Hollywood, van nuys sherman oaks, etc

Yup...here in LA. got little pockets of 4g, and throughput of 2-9mbps.....kinda lame for 4g. My Wimax used to get 3-12mbps
