I thought, as it was AROMA, you selected what to remove and not, but I see from your more detailed answer that is not the case, so just disregard my answer.

Flash your ROM again with NO WIPE, that should put all things removed back. Then make a backup before running the script again...

I do disable what I can, but I don't know what of the rest is safe to freeze/uninstall, that's why an ultralite version would be Nice :)

I would love to see a NeatRom UltraLite with only the bare minimum of what is needed to run with phone and sms, and then I could start from there and install just the apps I want :)

If you only need root, and you are not going to flash a rom, then use method 1 here instead of flashing a new kernel. Download Root_SuperSU.0.96-Busybox.1.20.2-S2-signed.zip, and copy it to externalsd card on the phone. Boot into stock recovery (volume up+home+power), and select "apply update...

Max volume on S2 is way too low, and the easiest solution for me was to use Voodoo Louder from Play market, but it's not a free app (you install a free app that will test compatibility and then you have to buy a license file to use it, and your phone has to be rooted).

How can that be easier than downloading a zip file to the phone and flash it in recovery? You don't have to use triangle away that way... Maybe Siyah kernel is better, and maybe not for a noob...

If you just want to root, and not flash a custom rom, then follow method 1 here. It's really easy to do from stock recovery. If you also want to flash a custom rom later, go here and find the correct PhilZ-cwm6 modified stock kernel to flash from stock recovery. Also very easy :)

It looks like batterydrain is good when not using the phone much, but not so with more use. I have been using it a bit more than usual today, and after about 7 hours from unplugged, and a little more than 3 hour total screen time (minimum brightness), and 1,5 hour web-browsing, 1 hour playing...

You don't need superoneclickroot when using PhilZ-cwm6, it's already rooted. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1877270 and search for XWLP7 and download that kernel (I'm not sure XWLPZ is close enough in version, but as there is a XWLP7 kernel there, I would use that.)

At first batterytime was not so good, but after 2-3 charging cycles, and disabling all bloatware it's quite good, easily lasting 2 days with lite to moderate use. Seeing the same on NeatRom Lite 4.0 :)
