Oh my goodness am I ever excited by this. Should be receiving my H831 today. It was a struggle to choose that phone coming from a nexus 5. But now the struggle might have been for nothing!
Really very nice, though unfortunately after getting everything working, the dialer updated while I was sleeping and was unusable, regardless of permissions. I should have taken a logcat but I reflashed quickly because I needed to use my phone. (Nexus 5)
Still, I need to swipe the wallpaper...
Title is pretty much it. I'm still on stock rooted kit kat. I've avoided Lollipop just because at the time it was apparently buggy, and I haven't really paid much attention to roms/android development in a long while. I've been tempted to grab the preview 3 since it came out, but I'm just not...
Nah, it was just stock settings, though I changed some colors to see if that would work. I downloaded beta 8, which does seem to work fine, and I'll update to 13 in a little bit. I appreciate the work you're doing!
Unfortunately 2.8.2 is not working on my Nexus 5 (Stock, rooted, 4.4.4). CB button is there, but clipboard UI is blank, can't save anything to it, etc.
Is 2.9 b 8 the latest version? I might have to try that one.
Root it, flash a decent custom rom with a dsp manager/good audio settings program, a good audio player program, and turn it in to a gigantic mp3 player?
I dunno.
I've had great luck lately with new Kit Kat based roms and WildKernel
I might suggest waiting for the next version of WildKernal, as there might be (not sure) a small issue with second core control,
and the dev is also going to be releasing his own kernel control app in the near future...
The best option is always the one that suits your needs. Make a pros and cons list if you need to, and compare it to what you want and need in a device.
Probably a silly question, but I've been thinking of trying out some guides on porting AOSP or some later CM roms. One of the devices I want to work with is a tablet on the Tegra 2 platform (I didn't even realize the T20 was part of T2 until now for some reason.) It doesn't have its own forum...
That's quite a lot of battery, though it wouldn't fit any of my case accessories. Getting 20+ hours with the latest WildKernal anyway. Maybe it's time you upgrade your ROM and Kernal?
Well, updated with kies flawlessly, love the new ROM. Finally able to customise text message background and bubbles with a stock ROM.
Made a silly mistake and wiped my nandroid backup before trying to install root (an older version), got infinite boot loop, so this thread really saved my...
