Post [Q] Blue Lines on the Motorola Defy LCD?

Hi, Those are what technicians call "dead pixels." Which means that the small pixels on your device are either smashed up (individually), or does not light anymore. Yes, you do have to replace the touch screen LCD of your device, unless your Defy is still covered by warranty and can be easily...

Bug report [?] Flashed 17.08 version, and everything was running smoothly except for the bootanimation. I've installed a new one, and still the bootanimation lags like hell. Fortunately, it still proceeds to the ROM, so it's still working properly. Just that bootanimation lag thing. I already...

Questions: -so I do not need to flash any governor zip file? -I'm already using Epsy's latest build + gapps. Do I really need to do a full wipe, or will cache+dalvik wipe be enough to do the job? -is this for Green lens only (I saw that you're using a green lens defy)? I'm using a red lense, but...

At first I was like, "I should try this out!" but then I saw, you were using a Defy+. :)) Is this method applicable to Defy? From the DroidXGovernors alone, i wasn't sure if it can also be flashed to Defy. Most of the posts I saw were about Defy+.

Hold on, I'm a bit confused. If HWA is enabled by default for all apps with the latest build, then why does it lag for my apps (I used my Weaphones app as basis, since it lagged before HWA was finally enabled with 0705 build, but lagged again with the latest builds)? My phone was responsive in...

wait.. the 7-5 build already had full HWA right? And it went smoother than the latest build, IMO. Here's a simple trial I did earlier: Anyone familiar with the Weaphones app? When I had the 7-5 build it was running perfectly (which did not happen in earlier versions). When I flashed the 7-11...

Post [Guide and FAQ] CM9 / Android ICS for Defy

Hmm. I don't know if you could call its status as "bricked", because as far as I know, you can't actually brick the Defy because of the locked bootloader. That's how we Defy users can luckily have our warranty so easily (as long as warranty period isn't expired, of course) whenever there's a...
