Well, I appreciate A LOT the effort of the Magisk developer. Nonetheless, hide feature has never worked on my Honor 6X (stock Rom, Nougat 7.0). But the root feature is of course the main thing, and I'm happy anyway. Thanks again.

Hi mate. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND your second option: flash an EMUI 8 and then go for a treble ROM if you don't like the stock Oreo ROM from Honor. Consider that many skilled users here (many of them are even developers, I'm not) have already prepared and tested safe guides on how flash Oreo EMUI 8...

China and India are still beta... Not sure at all about India release. They simply put aside Honor 6X without without too much clamor so users cannot complain. Forget Oreo with official channel. Full stop. Flash it by yourself, then go for openkirin and enjoy future project treble ROMs...

Tired of waiting Honor, I forced the update to B378 (C432 version). Today I had 3 hours free and so I could make everything, including installing all my backups and apps (because the update locked the phone again with consequent hard reset as usual, while I am rooted and unlocked). Finally some...

I confirm both: my C432 HAS NFC and the device is a mess :D

In any case I can't take a flight to go abroad and buy a new SIM just to get an update. This is a serious issue that must be cleared by Honor. Full stop.

And the strange thing is the March, April, May were fast and on time. And I never changed sim or carrier. Honor, never again. I'm just waiting to see if Oreo official comes out to FLASH BY MYSELF, because if I have to wait Honor, I can die waiting in the meantime...

Honor 8 confirmed OTA update in Italy. Now we must see if the update is the "REAL" Oreo or just a revamped UI and some optimization... Because, again, the update policy is a MESS. It is confusing and slow. And to say the list of updated phone models release is erratic it's a praise to Honor...
