Post [OP3/3T] Modded Google Camera with HDR+, 60FPS video and Slow Motion

Hate to be another person clogging up the thread with my own question but just wondering if anyone has found settings that work well with with OOS 5? I only really need HDR+ with ZSL but I can't seem to find it in the settings (I saw an earlier post about renaming or something but I'm not sure...

Post [UNIVERSAL] ParrotMod - SPEED UP the 2012 Nexus 7! FULL FLASH STORAGE SPEED FIX!

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately it seems that the USB port on my device is broken. It charges but my computer won't recognise it anymore (tried other machines and cables but still the same) I also tried using an OTG cable with a flash drive but that was not recognised either I've ordered...

Post [UNIVERSAL] ParrotMod - SPEED UP the 2012 Nexus 7! FULL FLASH STORAGE SPEED FIX!

Hi parrotgeek1 I know you have long since moved on from this but wondering if you could help me? I installed Parrotmod 2.0 last night using your instructions in the OP (had a stock 5.1.1 device) and all went well initially Out of curiosity I ran the terminal command to check that it was...

Thread EMUI 4 Clock App in EMUI 5?

Hi, A friend of mine recently bought an Honor 6X which shipped with EMUI 4. It updated to EMUI 5 the other day and the change is driving her mad I convinced her that staying with EMUI 5 is better than rolling back, which she has accepted, but she really misses the clock app from EMUI 4 I...

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

Mord0rr I would definitely recommend flashing the 2.1.5 modem I previously downgraded the modem due to issues with Android Wear (which I attributed to the new modem) and for the most part it worked but then I started getting soft resets when connecting to other bluetooth devices and sometimes...

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

I'd be interested to know this too. However I believe android 7.0 has dropped support for the snapdragon 800/801 chips. It doesn't mean that it cannot be done but I believe it makes the whole process harder to do as it is then up to the ROM developers to add that support back in

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

I never actually changed back but will do so later this evening. I still have 1 or 2 connection drops per day but much more solid To be honest, my watch was never right after the wear 6.0 update so it might not be firmware related. One other thing I tried was to remove all non essential wear...

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

Just a quick update on my previous post re older firmware I flashed the 2.0.8 modem files without issue on the current ROM. Connection to the wearable now seems solid but I had done so many things to try and fix it that I cannot be certain what seems to have done so. I will flash 2.1.5...

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

Does this ROM support older firmware versions? I've been having serious problems with my android wear watch. Connection in general has been slow, unreliable. Before when I had BT problems it was firmware related. If I downgrade the firmware to the older version would I have any issues?

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

I finally took the plunge and upgraded from Omni 5.1.1 to this. I have to say I am very impressed so far. I am a little concerned that my battery life is awful today but I think that might be because I was having issues syncing my LG GWR. I'll wait and see if it is still an issue after my next...

Post [6.0] Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

I'm tempted to try this out but don't know if I can through another round of setting my device back up the way I like it. I have never found Titanium Backup sufficient as I always have issues with some data not restoring or other quirks. What does everyone else use?

Post [5.1.x]Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

Hey, I have a 7s (that's the QHD one right?) The "standard" kernel in the nightly ROMs definitely causes unresponsiveness for me. It is pretty much only on screen wake up. About 2 weeks ago I flashed a nightly and forgot to flash the custom kernel and within a couple of hours I had the...

maxwen you legend! Thanks very much for doing this. For me, multitouch now works and I have had no unresponsiveness. I did have 1 moment of what I would call reduced responsiveness but a quick lock and unlock of the screen sorted that out. No problems since. Thank you so much for taking the...

Post [5.1.x]Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

Hey maxwen A couple of pages back you posted a modified kernel for those with unresponsive touchscreen issues. Whilst it did fix those it created some multitouch issues. Just wondering if you are looking at that at all? I know you are a very busy man and I am sure you have a priority list as...

I'm using AOSP email for an exchange account although it is an Office 365 one so that might be different Also, on the multitouch issue on the new kernel I noticed that it works a bit better if you reverse the motion i.e. pinch in to zoom in, pinch out to zoom out :) It's not quite perfect but...

It might be the same issue alright I managed to recover responsiveness without a reboot. I kept playing with it and gradually it came back. I did notice though that using 2 fingers helped with it registering the touches. I turned off double tap to wake but I don't know if that contributed Any...

Thanks Just wondering if you use titanium to backup? If so what restore setting would you normally use? I end up spending hours reconfiguring the new ROM back to how I like it but I always figured I was doing something wrong and that there would be an easier way

I think I am finally ready to take the plunge and update to lollipop. I am currently running Omni 4.4.4 on a Find 7, with LVM already setup. Just want to double check that the correct flashing procedure would be this: 1. Flash 2.0 firmware 2. Flash Omni 3. Factory reset 4. Flash GAPPS 5...

Post [5.1.x]Omni nightlies for Find 7a/7s

I have the same issue on Omni 4.4.4 so I doubt it's this ROM's issue. I have found though that if you either view the picture you just took and go back or select a different mode it will work again. This mod was created for CM and since Omni is not a CM derivative, some work would need to be...

Post [Q] Dialer slow to start call

Post [Q] Dialer slow to start call

Anyone else have any ideas? The issue is not with the dialer but quite literally with the phone app although as I mentioned in my OP, if I select a number to be dialled from the dialer in the car dock app, it works fine. Very perplexing!

Thread [Q] Dialer slow to start call

Hi, The last few days my dialer has been ridiculously slow in making a call. Typing in numbers is fine and accessing the call history is also fine but if I touch an entry to start a call it takes anywhere from 10-20 secs for the call to start. Oddly enough this issue is not present when using...

The only hope is Miracast. The N7 has not been officially certified yet but Nvidia are signed up to it so its only a matter of time before it is. You will have to buy a dongle for your TV or if you have a new TV it might get Miracast certification itself Then the next step is a software...
