TMobile Tab,
Followed the Overcome guide step by step, restocked to gingerbread prior to updating to Hermes.
For some reason, there is this weird menu background bug, like half of the background is missing. Happens with almost every popup menu. Any ideas? Picture is attached...
it happens using any wallpaper, both default and downloaded. The downloaded one im using is 1600ish x 1000ish. Yea, I use the box to get the entire image for my wallpaper, but still no luck. It still seems to show a zoomed image no matter what.
Hi all,
Fresh new dell streak, flashed streakdroid 1.9.
Now when I try to set any picture as wallpaper, it seems like it is zoomed in, destroying any high-res detail. Did I do something wrong? How should I go about fixing this? It is SUPER annoying.
Dumb question. I'm coming from Modaco's kernel, and running the overcome rom. To upgrade the kernel, to the overcome kernel, flash the zip using clockwerk? I don't want to wipe the stuff I have on my tab. Thanks in advance to any help.
edit: overcome version 1.1.3
Sent an mms message that wouldn't go through because I lost signal. Got an error saying something along the lines of "the message will send the message when you are are back in service area" (something like that) and it wouldn't go away until I rebooted. Also, is there an easy way of resending...

Change your IMEI. Here's the process I followed (i think-- might need to do a bit of searching to be sure)
Make sure your tab is rooted.
DL Root explorer.
mount R/W
BACKUP your efs folder and put it somewhere safe (this is all your IMEI info if I'm not mistaken)
delete the CONTENTS of...
Same thing here. Kies doesn't recognize my tab and I'm on JJB. Changing your IMEI works though, allowing for 3G and bypassing the T-Mobile redirect. I'm on the old school 5.99 T-zones plan and getting unlimited 3g :D.
newb question: if I changed my IMEI to bypass the t-mobile website redirect, would I still be able to upgrade via Kies? everytime I connect it seems like my device isn't being recognized.
This worked for me. After a reboot, I go straight to apps> development> turn OFF usb debugging. Then I run z4root (it will ask you to turn usb debugging ON). Go ahead and turn it on. Run z4root again. It should root. Now run SetCPU and you should be good. Worked for me-- maybe it's a...
