Not working for me on Roto JME. Seems that CSC is changed from KOR to XEU. But I still have only 2 apps in Samsung Apps. Stock had around 20-25.

Xoom is a completely different device. I do not see how it can obsolete SGT. They can coexist quite peacefully :)

It's not like SGT becomes somehow inferior just because there's a new version of Android. It is a great device as it is.

I'd have to agree that a lot of commenters in Market are plain brain-dead and they really discourage developers who put a lot of effort to bring quality software for free.

At least in 1.4.6 "android.hardware.touchscreen.multitouch.distinct" feature is not set in /etc/permissions. After it is set, rotate works properly in Maps 5.0. This has been discussed in Nexus One and Modaco Streak forums. Solution on Modaco

Have you tried using entries from official build.prop?

3D buildings work on Steve's 1.4.6. Try zooming in New York. Two-finger rotation does not work.

I have both and love both. HD2 running CM 6.1. HD2 feels more sturdy. Streak is just plain better. Mainly because of the screen size. Haven't experienced any issues with both devices so it's purely a matter of taste which one you'll like more. HD2 does give you an option to run whichever Android...

Same issue as OP here. All non-HD ROMs run really fast. But other Desire HD ROMs are plain terrible speed-wise. I have a good Class 6 card.

Just got one from Amazon UK. It's 2.1. Maybe Dell sells 2.2 directly. Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App

This wallpaper requires 2.2 because it uses some native features that were introduced in it.

Do you have Android 2.2 with live wallpaper support? Just in case :)

I'm pretty sure the wallpaper isn't using any CPU cycles while in the background (thanks to stopping renderer thread when onVisibilityChanged(false) is triggered). If you just leave home screen on all time, than yes, it will run down your battery, just like any other wallpaper that draws...

@nijnvy Unfortunately I do not have a Hero with 2.2 anywhere near, so I can't test and fix this. But thanks a lot for reporting this issue. I'll see if I can reproduce this on other devices.

There's a frame limiter right now. I guess it's not needed for lower-end devices. Thanks for testing. I might add an option for that. Or just remove it. I'll consider a speed option as well. The wallpaper is not being drawn when it's not visible. So no calculations are being made and no CPU used.

Any suggestions for colors?

By difficult, do you mean some automatic checks that prevent an app from being published?

I'm getting into Android development and wondering if registering on Market to distribute free apps is worth it? Or are people OK to get free app from elsewhere. Thoughts are welcome. Thanks.
