yes long pressing the power button does not give any response. I've deleted all my USB drivers and have let them reinstall now as there was nothing that made it clear which of them was for the Tab in the device manager. Still no response from the Tab and no recognition in Odin at all.

Hi jacktackle, thanks very much for your quick reply and assistance. Unfortunately, I don't have any symbols at all showing up. The screen is completely blank. Plugging it into the computer doesn't show anything and odin doesn't recognise any comm port connected. Is there something else I can do?

Hi Tabulous thank you very much for your reply. Yes I've tried charging it up via the wall charger and then pressing power and down to get into download mode but there's no response. It doesn't even acknowledge being plugged in or that it's charging.

thanks frantech. The issue is that my screen is completely blank. Can't get it even in to download mode. No combination of buttons does anything and connecting it to the computer doesn't even trigger that a usb device has been connected. Is the only option to just leave it there with Odin?

Hi I can't even enter download mode after my Odin update failed. It's just a black screen and when I plug it into the computer it's not recognised at all. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I can't get my Tab into download mode. It ran out of battery while flashing in Odin and now it won't respond to anything. Is it gone?
