FWIW, I called 611, and spoke to 2 different reps, one of which spent quite a while searching for anything in the system regarding this and found nothing. at the end she suggested i check with my local store. Anyone had any better luck using 611?

If they are acknowledging the issue is with the phone, then why should YOU pay for another phone, they should replace it with something comparable, not a downgrade like Thunderbolt, or the Bionic, with it's crappy screen.
