I'm hoping it's cause the screen is so large, that there's a layout beyond large that I just need to add. My other theory is "android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION", but I don't use that so I can remove it. Any theories?

I get that I have to replace the digitizer with the screen as they're really a single component. The problem is, the video I watched on youtube says you need a heat source at like 420 degrees Celsius to remove it from the LCD. Is it ok to use a regular hair drier? Or do I need a special heat gun?
