    Post [KERNEL][ALL ROMS][SEP 14] Glitch for Flo/Deb - r574

So usb storage doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm using usb otg + charging. Stock android 5.1.1. 3.4.109-glitch-n7-aosp-r362 kernel. I'm using a powered hub. The hub seems to work. I'm using a usb dac on it. Any ideas? Should I use a different hot plug driver or maybe switch to...

Post [ROM] FINAL Twi5ted Lollipop 5.0 V7 5/24/2015 Deviant Development

Great rom so far. I have a request: disable the wireless charging notifications, sounds and screen on. Used to be able to use xposed to suppress this but, you know, Lollipop. thanks

Post [ROM] ViSiON-X US TMO [Android L 5.1.1][G900TUVS1FOL1v1][03-04-16]

Feedback Many thanks for the work you've done first off. So here's the issues I've been having so far. I did a wipe cache/dalvic/system and installed this new rom via TWRP. After 10 minutes it came up as expected. I seem to have an issue where the cell radio keeps losing the connection and...

Post [Q] So, does anybody go swimming with this?

Yep. I guess it's my turn to be the guinea pig. So this makes 5 times at the pool at 30-45 minutes of doing laps and everything seems to be working still with no water building up under the face. So Yay for Samsung. Now if they could just finish the software...

Post [Q] So, does anybody go swimming with this?

It doesn't seem to. Even if it you tried to use something like cycling in it's place it would be problematic since those modes keep the screen on and the water will make an active screen go haywire.

Post [Q] So, does anybody go swimming with this?

So far so good. Just did laps for 45 minutes and it seems to have survived. The only problem is that the touch screen seems to register water as touches so it went nuts whenever it was awake. I guess I'll have to disable the clock gesture function when I'm swimming.

Post MKV Jetta 2013 Nexus 7 Install - work in progress

I don't know if you've come to a solution on the USB issue but I'll offer my input just in case. If you use the Glitch kernel and CM11, you can get OTG charging and usb sound. You really can't kill the power with the ignition though, it'll lose the usb sound occasionally. So you'll need a...

Post Nexus 7 2013 auto on with power?

Tasker will do this but you have to install the Secure Settings plugin and use the lock device function. I'm going through a round of this myself.

Thread [Q] USB audio just doesn't sound quite right.

It's possible I'm crazy but I've just installed the latest version of CM10.2 on this device to get USB audio going and I have to say it just doesn't sound as good as the usb audio on my Galaxy Note 2 running stock firmware. Is this some kind of issue with Android's internal audio mixer that...

    Post [MOD] USB Audio Support

Hi jacknorris, I'm trying to get usb audio to work on a Huawei Mediapad. I'm using After_Silence's Cyanogenmod 10.1 kernel. I tried using your usb-audio-patcher app but it doesn't seem to do the trick on this hardware. I believe it recognizes the usb dac. I've gotten it to play with alsa...

Post [Q] How to stream Android audio output to UPnp/Airplay/DLNA ... whatever

If we're putting out feedback on AirAudio I've got a couple things I'd like to see. 1. Streaming over the local network. I'm using a crazy setup on a T-Mobile Springboard where I run Linux through Linux Deploy on it which runs AirShair in order to use the usb audio out. The problem is that...

Thread Recovery works but I can't install any rom

So TWRP and CWM seem to install and work fine but any rom I try to install, it just goes back to recovery. I've tried every wipe and reset option. I've even tried to flash the stock 4.0.3 image. Is this tablet actually broke? Any ideas? thanks in advance

Post Is a Case Really Needed?

Normally I forgo the case. This is the first phone that I have one for. The thing is the chassis is made with %10 butter. It's gotta be the slickest phone I've ever held. If I could find a backplate that's made with that hard rubbery material and a kickstand I'd probably go with that.

Post [MOD] Simple Wireless Charging! - 10 minutes & Under £10

Arg! This is not going well. So I've got a Sprint GN2, a Palm Pixi back cover and a Palm Pre touchstone dock. The inductive receiver and the dock are working, I get 5.6 volts. I connect them to the pins that I had to dremel out the back of the GN2 to find and it doesn't seem to recognize it...

I just got a Rocket fish bluetooth receiver http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/products/home-theater/RF-BTR212.html. Let me share a story. I used to think like you. At the same time I also admired how pretty and shiny audiophile grade equipment is. One such piece, the Krell KAV-300R, I'd stare at every time I saw it in Ultimate Electronics(yes, this story goes back a bit). Then the day came that they...

    Post light sensor

I'm guessing no one has had any luck with this issue but I figure I'd necro the thread anyways. My light sensor sucks also. I used 'Android Sensor Box' to get the values coming out of the sensor. It only displays either 40 lux or 280 lux which is obviously not right. This is on Cyanogen 9...

Post Huawei MediaPad, in my car!

That's interesting. I don't have that problem at all. I'm using a generic 2a usb charger from Wallmart. Maybe you're using the usb jack to charge it? I cut the end off and soldered it to the power jack.

Post Huawei MediaPad, in my car!

When I first created that program yes. But if I tried it now I would look into a usb connection from the tablet to the Arduino. A bluetooth Arduino is really expensive ($150)! I think they have wifi ones also. The bluetooth is mostly reliable. I did have to make my program disconnect and...

Post Who wants an amazing deal? Act fast.

I kind of had the same thought at first. $6 for 2 double capacity batteries is a ridiculously low price. It really seems like a listing error. So instead of being the sort of jerk that attacks a seller for an obvious error in the listing I just went ahead and paid the extra $7 which is still...

Post 64GB microsdxc not compatible with the Tab

Well after much wrestling with Odin I managed to flash Roderick's ef17 kernel and now the 64gb card works, Sky Wizard be praised!! I don't know if it was the kernel or if my Tab was messed up. And video seems choppy, I'm not sure if it's a slow card or something else yet.

Post 64GB microsdxc not compatible with the Tab

My understanding of this might not be correct but I think fat32 shouldn't be an issue. The 64gb card I got is fat32 and my gs2 seems to use it fine.

Post 64GB microsdxc not compatible with the Tab

Thanks for the advice about the custom rom. I might give that a shot. As for why I use this much, this tab is my car stereo so that means lots of music and movies for long trips. It's easy to eat up a lot of space that way.
