I agree. As much trouble that I have had with Samsung support is just amazing. I had the battery problem and finally had to open up my tab and disconnect the battery to fix it Samsung knows about this problem and should have had a recall. This does not bid well for Samsung.

+1 I have both and like them both. The tab is great for travel and the ipad is great for magazines.

That has happened to me when I was having battery issues. I was able to keep connecting and disconnecting the charger cable until I got my tab to work again.

I finnally got sick of my galaxy tab losing power and removed the battery connector. We will see if this helps.

There is a lot of tab batteries on ebay. Just search galaxy tab battery on ebay.

I haven't upgraded my sprint tab yet and can say that the new netflix app finally works.

Just search for zinio in the xda forums. There is an app already out there because we have been using it on our USA tabs for months now. It works perfectly fast and has landscape also.

Closer but no banana for me. This one gets me past the device not supported screen but force closes after I sign in. Sprint Galaxy Tab.

Many people are having trouble getting sound with this app if you are running xp as your gateway computer as I found out on the internet.

Is there a trick? I can not seem to get audio on my tab. The video is flawless.

Are you sure it is stock 1.2 and you are on a ad hoc network? It is still an android system that will not see ad hoc. I tested it today with windows wifi router on ad hoc and the nook would not see it.

Just get the galaxy tab usb adapter from amazon uk and you can cbarge from any charger.

I love the app but wish there was a way to put a show or two in a temp folder for when I am away from home in a 3g area to watch later.

It has worked for me for over a week now. It seems to be when I change out a micro sd card that the tab freaks out. I have my movies on a separate card.

What I am trying is to reboot the tab when it starts to freak out with the battery counter. What you do is power down the tab and then power it up with the power button and volume up key at the same time. You then reboot the tab. Seems to work so far as I will continue to experiment.

Just ordered an adapter at amazon uk. I tried to get one at amazon germany but they did not like my usa address. I will see if the uk sends me one. Also the scosche gobatt 2 battery charger comes with the galaxy tab adapter and 2.1usb output.

Good luck with that. I guess that you have never dealt with att&t. I have the uverse service with them and they continuously change my plan.

I am having the same problem. My apple ipod touch is getting the new magazines but not my galaxy tab.

You are now experiencing what alot of us galaxy tab owners have. It is a flaw with the galaxy tab's version of android. My tab sometimes does this. You need to play with pulling out the power cord, turning off the tab, pulling the power cord with it off, etc. and not necessarily in that order to...

Oh but the tab does have a serious flaw in it. There are hundreds of us with battery indication flaws in that it will go to 3% or zero in the matter of minutes. Samsung does not seem to care. This attitude worries me about their other products.

I have done all of the battery recalibrations suggested here on xda to no avail. The only thing that has helped me is plugging in a portable kennsington battery by usb that tricks the battery indicator and it seems to slow down my battery drain.

It is definately the android system. There is another thread here where the samsung rep says they know about this version of android and the battery issue. My tab went to zero yesterday in ten seconds. It took me a long time to get the battery meter to show it was charging again.

Some tabs including mine are having battery issues. All of the sudden the battery indicator will go to zero. I have tryed all of the remedies here on xda to no avail. It seems to be a problem with the android system.

I bought it. I am going to support people who make apps for the tab.

What I did was go ahead and try to install the update. The update stops with an error on my tab because of my wpa suppliment. The update alert goes away. This works for me so use at your own caution.

Did it unroot your tab or any other bad thing? I have not seen this update on my sprint tab.

nfl app EA mobile has a nfl game only for the tab in the market. I got it and it runs good on the tab. We should support it as they may make more for us.

I also have a sprint tab and it is three months old. I have not put another rom on it, only rooted it. It also has developed this battery problem recently. It will go from 53 to 3 all of the sudden.

I just checked and my sprint tab does the same thing. On airplane mode it will not let me read a magazine. The magazines are downloaded on my sd card.

The new apk works perfectly on my sprint tab also. Now the tab is perfect for me.
