Got a banking app that's detecting Magisk. Previously all I had to do was add it to the magisk hide list, but I can't find the list in the new manager (v 8.0.3) - there's just a magisk hide toggle, no option to set which apps it's hidden from. Feel like I must be missing something really...

I didn't have this issue until recently, but I'm seeing it as of upgrading to the July security patch. Is there a fix? Update: looks like it's only happening when system navigation is set to gesture rather than 3-button. Maybe that will help track down the issue?

Yeah, this is where I'm at too. Looks like folks who installed Magisk to inactive boot before updating are fine, but trying to install with a patched boot.img after the update doesn't work, which seems...very weird?

Anyone got Magisk working on the new beta? The canary build that was reported working on beta 1 isn't booting for me. (I never tried beta 1 myself.)

I'm seeing a new thing happening since the December update - when I squeeze, an overlay appears at the bottom of the screen like Google assistant is listening. Goes away after a few seconds, but is there any way to get rid of it completely?

Got my issue sorted out - if anyone else is having an issue with the update, I deactivated the module in edxposed, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled fingerface, activated the module, and rebooted again. Successfully running 1.0.1 and not getting confirm dialogs anymore.

Got xposed installed and running thanks to this thread, but the module download screen is empty - just shows the refreshing icon and "module list will be loaded in a few seconds" forever. Anyone else seeing this?

I ran diffchecker on the adb system settings output with force 90hz enabled and disabled, and found the setting that switches when you activate "force 90Hz" in the developer settings: "min_refresh_rate=90.0". If you're rooted you can set that with Tasker based on whatever conditions you want...

Yep, it works. Like you said, only when the proximity sensor isn't blocked, but that still means I can squeeze the phone as I bring it down from my ear to hang up without looking, which is what I was aiming for. Thanks!

If you're having issues with extra things showing up on AOD when you use mods affecting the status bar, I worked out a solution with Tasker. It's not pretty, but it works. Check out this thread.
