My Nexus 6P won't go into doze anymore. Losing 10% battery overnight. Looks like it happened after the 6.0.1 update. Any fix for this yet?

I'm waiting for WIND to stock the Nexus 6P then I'm going to decide whether to upgrade from my Xperia Z3.

No it's a real issue with the 810 chipset which is why LG decided to go with the 808 for the G4 instead.

Z4 should've been the first Android phone with manual shutter control and RAW output. Why is LG beating Sony in the camera department? That's embarrassing.

Looks like Xperia Z4 will be Xperia Z3+ for international markets.

I don't understand how the battery life on the M9 is so bad. It's using a 1080p screen with the supposedly more efficient 810 chipset yet the Xperia Z3 with it's 1080p screen and less efficient 801 chipset gets double the battery life/SoT. Is it just HTC Sense software needing optimization or...

I'm getting a lot of screen redraw lately on Lollipop. Never had this issue on KitKat. Not sure if it's because I didn't do a complete wipe only cache wipe. Anybody else with this issue?

I wouldn't. It may work but buggy. Tried it on my original Z and flashed the ftf for the wrong model.

Sony event at CES is happening right now. So far they have unveiled new cameras, TVs and electronics.... not mention of Z4 yet... hopefully it will get announced in the next 20 minutes before then conference is over. :rolleyes:

Processor is not a huge deal breaker. Sony really need to improve their UI and camera though.

Manual mode is great for photographers but most of the time I just want to point and shoot without having to tweak the settings, like most people who buy this phone. Superior auto mode is garbage. Theres a whole thread on here dedicated to how bad it is, which says a lot.

I didnt mention but there is a Z4 Compact coming too.

Sony should try to use the Ultra to compete with the Note series, especially if they want to go back to only having 1 flagship per year.

Yes its considered poor. If the average person cannot get good shots, its not considered a great camera. You shouldnt have to tweak camera settings everytime to get good photos. OIS is very import, especially for low light shots. Which is why the Note 4 and iPhone 6 plus are spanking the Xperia...

Z4 is still a while away. Most likely will be announced in Jan and released in March.

You already knew that Sony have been open about their 6 month flagship phone window. The good news is that they are planning to change this with the Xperia Z4 and just keep it as their only flagship for 2015. (I'm guessing they may do a successor to the Z Ultra halfway through the year like...

I always use soap and water under the tap to clean my Z3 every few days when it gets dirty/fingerprints/etc.

woah how did you do it? I can't even get more than 5 hours SoT with my Z3. What's your settings and brightness and do you have any battery saver apps?

I use double tap and my SOT is not great. Going to disable it for now and see if theres any difference in battery life.

Just use an app like Greenify to block apps running in the background when not in use so you dont havr to uninstall them.
