A good friend asked me to root his note 3, he was on mj5 at the time, everything worked like a charm using vroot. Now he wants to update to kitkat so i downloaded the rom file and odin files from another thread thinking it would be easy,i looked at his build and fimware and its nb4 now but still...

Just rooted a new att note 3 on 4.4.2with towel root worked like a charm downloaded and installed supersu and safe strap no problems did the edit for mixer.path.xml to make it louder now have no sound for anything phone slows down dramatically and reboots out of nowhere and I can't make calls...

Please tell me there is a way, I have the files for odin but dont want to try without confimation that it will work. I love kit kat but i love root way better. I hope there is a light at the end of this no rooted tunnel

I am an amateur with the whole rooting and rom dealings, as I've only had my note 3 since Feb, and I've only recently started using safestrap to change roms. I've installed hyper drive and now baja combat and both times the Wi-fi won't turn on its just frozen in the off position, any help would...
