Meaning install a custom recovery and a different rom and you should be fine

Several options - first why did you not flash over recovery? Second boot into recovery and reset. Third if you can't get into recovery flash a custom recovery such as twrp and flash a new rom. Hope this helps

To my knowledge T mobile only supports the 1700 and 1900 bandwith. Look at the specs on their website for what other frequencies they support. Let me know if you are successful because I want to buy an international phone as well and run it on tmobile.

Take out battery put it back in. Hold down power, middle button, and up button until you were booting into recovery. Reset to factory there - maybe that works. Good luck

I would try a different rom and see if you still have this issue. If yes it might be a hardware issue such as a bad battery.

Easy to do - install Xposed installer again then look for a mod called Samsung alt keyboard and install it. Activate and reboot the phone and you get your symbols back. Good luck

This sounds like a kernel issue. Try wiping again and try a different kernel. If you don't have a Canadian one you might be able to use a tmobile one but I am not recommending that

It is an issue with every phone because without wifi the phone will keep constantly trying to find the best LTE connection.
