Nevermind figured it out

I'm having an issue with the lastest OOS 10.3.1 update. Updated from 10.3 using method B. I used that method before to update from 10.2 to 10.3 so i thought i would be good. But now I'm getting persmission controller keeps stopping error and i dont know why. Is there a fix for this?

Question. I'm attempting this again from OOS 9.0.9 so method B. I have done everything up to step 5. Now I'm wondering am I suppose to click install on magisk at the top because at the bottom it still says uninstall even tho I did it twice before I did anything else?

After fixing the issue I figured out where I went wrong. Didn't remove the pattern or finger print security I had on the phone which caused an issue when I got into twrp. Whenever I tried to enter the pattern nothing happened, so by pressing cancel and moving forward that's where all the files...

Its weird idk what i'm doing wrong. but oh well :(. thanks again. currently downloading the brick tool hopefully that works, if not i'm truly screwed. Thanks again for trying to help.

Sooo I tried following this guide and ending up bricking my phone lol. Guess i'm still a noob with android.

I have been trying and failing to update to the latest version. Each time I install it my phone boots then reboots to recovery. Tried with v19.2 and it's doing the same thing. After running the magisk uninstaller I'm able to flash V18.1 whichs boot without issue. It's the only version I've tried...

Same issue. Ended up doing a factory reset and yet it still won't install. So now I'm back on 18.0. Will Wait till whatever is wrong with 18.1 to be fixed

Will this module work for du 11.6?

I ended up going all the way back to v12. And that's working fine now. I've seen where there is a module uninstaller that you can use to disable modules that acting up. You might want to try that. It's on the magisk module thread. As for the resizing magisk I'm not really sure.

I have the latest version installed. It just stopped showing in the app drawer. Think I'll try an older version and hope for the best. There is another module for safteynet that I have installed that's working well

Reading thru this thread I'm still lost as to how this module is suppose to work.

That's what I ended up doing. I had to reinstall a lot of apps that kept crashing after I flashed the ROM over stock. Pogo was one also but seems I had to do it again a second time for it to work properly.

Has anyone experienced any issues with some apps not being able to access internet? Mainly gaming apps. Pokemon go (yes I play go) can't access the internet since I installed this ROM yesterday.

Haven't flashed as yet but I dnt use any bank apps, I dnt live in the US

Could someone tell me if I'm reading the op post correctly. It seems to suggest this rom can be flashed as an update through fastboot on stock M (which I'm currently on) or on earlier versions of this rom. Is that the case? If so all I would need to do is copy the downloaded zip to the...

Does this rom come pre rooted? Are they any issues with apps crashing or anything like that?

Question. Let's say I'm using a custom kernel. If it gets updates. Will it be ok to flash the updated kernel without having to go thru the same steps like I had to do with the initial install of magisk?

Yea that one. The root toggle keep going back to on.

Tried it, magisk manger can't disable root after flashing the new superSu

Chainfire just updated superSu, would it be safe to flash it over the magical version? He did make some mention of magisk in his post on G+ about the update.

Noob question: currently on su beta 2.66, I see now that 2.67 is out. Are there any special requirements to update to the new version or can I just flash the zip in twrp and be ok?

Sorry if this was posted already I have the android sdk installed on my pc, i use adb to flash 4.4 factory image but now when i connect the phone to the pc it wont pick up and allow me to see the files on it. I get the debugging notification and the sound on the pc but nothing in my computer...
