maybe i don't fully understand you, but as i said before if i used pie control for navigation with immersive mode every time i swipe from the bottom to use the pie i end up with nav bar showing which makes using pie meaningless i want to be able to use the whole screen with no navigation bar...

i know that but immersive mode is different, swiping over the edges shows the bar again which i don't need.

is there an option to disable navigation bar !!! i can't find it if there is not can it be added to future releases if possible, thanks

it's my second try for this rom since couple of months back and i have to say that the development is going really well the rom is very smooth and with useful features with no bloat or useless features, thanks a lot. only bug is colors on startup which is easily fixable by turning sRGB on and...

you sure that root explorer granted root permission !! check magisk manager to make sure it's granted

i think if you are going to use other kernel you may need arise magisk compatibility module

first time trying this rom, so far so good buttery smooth and no major problems so far (only couple of things, in aroma installer i selected apps for deletion but nothing deleted i had to do it manually later and also google assistant didn't work for me also fixed it manually no big issues) keep...

regarding rom updates i think you need to check google+ most major roms developers tend to post their work on google+ now, i don't like to discuss other roms here but beside stock based roms i think DU is the best for me, i hate cyanogenmod based roms too unfortunately. i really miss stock based...

i think ElementalX has a problem with supersu, you have to flash it and supersu in specific order or reboot after each flash something like that, you can find this issue solved on ElementalX thread by searching, it's not rom related it's the kernel itself.

i'm using latest tupac4us rom now, assistant and voice detection works fine here. google app version 6.9.36.21

try to grant permissions for pixel launcher in settings>apps .. it's how i got weather to appear on newest pixel launcher

using 1.20 now rom runs great, the only thing i found is wi-fi hotspot now working for me !! when data is on and i try to enable hotspot it gives an error and not detected by other devices the strange thing is when data is off i can enable it and connect other device to it !!! i clean flashed...

i found something strange, google now on tap doesn't show with long press home button !! .. i tried clean flashing with two different gapps and updated google app but still no change !!

for me i think N is even better in battery performance and i don't recommend reverting back to MM. SAOSP is one of the best roms i have ever used on nexus 5 and i'm glad to use it on my N6P it's simply the smoothest experience i have ever had in any aosp rom :good:

it was working on the same rom few days ago but with the latest update it stopped i don't know why !! my phone has been always rooted and bootloader unlocked since the first day ,that's why i think some update in google related stuff that caused the problem.

i tried different gapps (banks, opengapps & benzo) all have the same result, but i really think it's not rom related as i'm on another rom now based on stock not aosp and i have the same problem so i think it's a problem related to google (maybe google services) but it's not a big deal i like...

working great till now, the only problem i had is force close when trying Trusted Faces in Smart Lock

i tried the rom (clean flash) with benzo & banks gapps and i can confirm Settings FC bug, settings keep force closing if mobile data is disabled and works fine is data enabled. Thanks for the rom and i know that Nougat is still work in progress, so i hope this issue gets a fix soon :)

if i have 8.3 installed with call volume fix flashed do i need to upgrade to 8.3.1 !! is there any other big differences !!

using 8.1 update now with magisk and WETA audio only and everything is running great. only one problem that V4A failed to install driver but i solved it buy flashing 2.5.0.5 again and renamed audio_effects.conf to audio_effects.conf.bak in /vendor/etc/ as i found this fix and it works great now...

no its not working there is no led even when i charge the battery i tried some apps but nothing changed

sorry if this was asked before but is notification led working in this rom as it's not working on my device or it needs different kernel !!! i searched the thread but i can't find anything about it !!

my experience so far that ViPER4Abdroid will only work if Selinux set to permissive in Magisk Manager, and it has to be done after each reboot (so after reboot switch selinus toggle in Magisk Manager to off and also open ViPER4Android app once) .. and i also flashed system wide fix from WETA rom...

xposed not avilable for N yet

using WETA 7.0.1 now .. no problems so far (only the camera bug on the first time after reboot, but it's not a big deal) .. viper fix works great, thanks for your effort

i have the same problem of booting taking so long, is that normal !!! on my device it took about 15+ minutes & at the end i had to reboot into recovery and restored a backup as i wanted to use the phone urgently, i'll try it again later but i wanted to know if it should take this long ...

as i said with opengapps every thing was ok but sometime i find a crash .. but with banks no issues at all and i feel like the rom is smoother with banks, i don't know maybe it's not general it's just the case with me :)

i used opengapps for so long it was working fine, but after i used banks with DU i feel that banks is more stable, smooth and compatible with DU.

i don't think it's kernel related ,, for me all cm based roms gave better sot time than aosp based roms on my 6P or even on my nexus 5 .. and DU is aosp based which is better than cm base in every way other than battery. I really find the stock DU kernel very stable and with good battery life.

DU is without a doubt the best AOSP for me .. best features and CMTE it's the only rom beside stock + xposed combo that suits my needs many thanks for your effort. FYI i use DU with opengapps with no problems, i use aroma arm64 version it works perfectly :)

you can have something like that with xposed and gravitybox module ,,, i use stock or stock based roms with xposed all the time and i always come back to this combo after trying any other rom for the stability and smoothness, so if you want extra features i recommend xposed + gravitybox (use the...

xposed + gravitybox and you can have almost any feature you want, i use it and it's stable with no problems at all .
