i didn't use or try those classic manual lense that much anyway ... as modem lense this days don't really have with issues with flares.... Low-dispersion.. UD element...Subwavelength Structure Coating.. whatever they call that to combat flaring... i haven't experience any of those purple...

Same here for my Asian G935FD. I've already update it to the latest European software and lost my VoLTE. But the phone feels great now.

that shape correction thing actually does works, not best though. :cyclops: at least the centre isn't "squeezed" any more but for the barrel distortion, it remains. left: without correction right: with correction as you can tell, the lines are at least straighten in the center of the frame...

your lens is fine :) it happens when you place camera too near to the subject for a wide angle lens. you can use "shape correction" in the camera setting to correct that. cheers. :)

chill dude. spend more time with it, everything has a learning curve to start with. :) i was a noob back then with simple a point and shoot camera, now i can handle ranges of dslrs and currently doing freelance photography as side line business.

Testing the newest Bulgaria PCH on my G935FD for less then 24hour, On 4g for the whole day. Screen on auto brightness.. turn on everything except AOD. Results are not impressive but definitely see 10-15% improvements over the Singapore's PB6. Looking towards to see improvement for the next few...

It's mainly exposure bracketing up to 9 stops I use, so all areas get the correct amount of exposures when you combine all of them together.. highlights were brought back from darker area whereby blown out area will get its details recovered. That's the purpose of hdr. for post process it's...

all this shots are taken roughly 8 to 9 images, so that all area get the right exposures. all are took in raw as well. and processed using photoshop cs6. first pic: the lense was pointing towards the street lamp, 1st.. it might be some kind of a angle that brings that flares in. 2nd... there...

1) tried different password that i cant think off, but it won't work. 2) tried flashing to a different csc as provided, same outcome.

my old firmware was on BTU csc, i flash the new firmware and together with the provided separate BTU csc, and got the password prompted during start-up too. i don't set any password on my phone at all.

Yup and my volte is gone as well. Guess volte is also csc dependant. Xsp is really provisioned for Singapore mobile networks, though all other regions firmware works as well as European uses the same network frequency as Asia.. the volte support is a question though.. guess it's all about...

If Nokia done that with android instead together with dual pixel, It will be unbeatable. Who knows few years later, smartphone manufacturer going to squeeze in a 1 inch sensor (compact camera sensor).

Don't have g5 didn't know can do raw, my bad. Haha. OK anyway g5 and s7 not the first to that able capable to handle raw file anyway. The old flagship lumia 1020 40mp that spots a 1/1.5" sensor is the first smartphone to support raw format which is bigger that can do even better at low light...

yep, the over aggressiveness of the leveling was intentional :laugh: the purpose was to make it look more surreal. on the other hand this hdr was made using 6 images taken roughly from -4..0 to +4.0 (camera show just -0.2 to +2.0) i use my own manual adjustment to bring lowest and highest...

Op: do you have the csc file for xsp ? I can't get my volte back with Thai csc. The provided csc file are Thai. Not Singapore

same here exynos version, unbearable slow auto focus in 1080p 60fps mode seems hunting alot. difference is very noticeable even for a non photography savvy person.

it seems like 1080p 60fps mode doesn't really make use of Dual Pixel phase detection.. it felts more like contrast detection to me.. there might be chance that Dual Pixel are not supported in 60fps mode.. keep our finger crossed.

yup, i tried around 10 to 15 secs still same. it had to be exactly 10-15 sec? i even tried like more then 30 secs, it doesn't work too.
