I agree 100% - I bought a cheap charger from eBay, but it would not charge the phone when using TomTom - and barely hold the charge when playing MP3s. I replaced witha genuine HTC charger and everything is fine

Just read the smallprint in the O2 contract. There will be a "fair use" policy which will probably give indicative usage limits. I use my T-Mobile Vario III on the move all the time to hook up my laptop and have never had any issues from T-Mob.

If you are using TT 6.032, then it automatically detects that you have a built-in GPS, so ignores the COM & Baud rate settings

I'd send it back for replacement. It was sold as a 3/3.5G phone and is obviously not doing what it should do. I'm on WnW+ and my phone switches happily between G,U & H with no problems
