Ok so I figured out how the background playback works Once you download something there's a permanent notification, once it appears, you can presa the home button and you'll see it will continue playing. Please do comment if that works Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Background playback magicly started to work! And there's a notification! Awesome. Can you add a "shutdown" or "pause" button to the notification? If it doesn't work for someone try to delete data from the app info page and restart.. I have no idea if this will work for you but.. It did for me...

I believe they released a less buggy version.. Also.. I checked on SystemUI.apk, that img isn't there.. Try the framework-res.apk.. they are both dual boot kernels.. Try switching to a different one and tell me if that was fixed Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

For me it was a problem with devil's kernel v1.8.0.. Try to flash a new rom If you can't get to download mode, just take the battery out, wait a second, insert it back and connect to charger for about 2-3 hours, then take the battery out for a couple of seconds again and try to get in to...
