Yes you can, but as mike said before if you flash other kernels except Stock, you will loose tweaks (Those that mike has optimized) of ROM

Bootloader is important if we use download mode. Am i right? So if we dont use download mode it is not needed to upgrade it !?

This red exclamation mark is due to new bootloader. so if you are rooted you will see it If you are all stock , you wont see it.

it seems its human fault in installing. no lag or jag. first use wipe, better to mega wipe. after that install this ROM with no tweaks (best option)

If you use Stock Kernel yes, you are safe But, you should have a safe recovery too, like Philz
