I think it's a software issue leading to a hardware issue, i noticed after the update the problem is gone, it gets hot and battery drop in heaving usage (heavy games for example) which is normal about contacting Samsung HQ, it's little bit hard to do it, but you can always contact Samsung...

Because my killer spec'ed laptop gets hot on the table, and I get annoyed that a killer spec'ed smartphone gets a bit hot under usage because it's on my ear and btw, my killer spec'ed laptop does not get hot with normal use, but my killer spec'ed smartphone got hot in the initial settings of it...

Formatting the SD should do it, no need to disable anything, Media Server cannot be disabled anyway, and there is an update and it may solve the problem

I haven't noticed yet, hope it's not there anymore! And about the overheat problem, I did something and seemed to be working just fine, I removed the SD card, put it into my Laptops card reader, took all the files, put the SD in the phone again, formatted it from the phone not from the laptop...

I just got the new replacement phone, still overheating issue is there, as some said it's mediaserver, I removed the SD card and the overheat is totally gone! I will format it and put it again after I make backups to my PC

The problem seems to be a software problem as you all said, that's what I've been told from samsung service center, my device will be replaced (as samsung advised even though it's a software problem) but still they're waiting for the next patch of stock! I have to wait couple of days or maybe...

I got the same problem too, I have the unlocked version and posted about the same problem in the general S4 forum, many guys said it's "Mediaserver" but I don't know...

Guys, could it be MicroSD problem that causes the heat? I'm not sure but when I removed it I think the heat is gone, that leads us to "mediaserver" issue, maybe the MicroSD and MediaServer have some issues together?!! Anyway I gave my S4 to the service center and will check about any problem

Well, I've compared S3 with Galaxy S1,S2 it's normal Little bit defference between them but in general it's normal and the S3's screen is not pinkish actually I started to notice that the S1 is little bit yellowish :P and my brother's S1 is pinkish so it depends on your luck

Your roms are great, but unfortunatly after a while they start to hang because of TW4 which is the reason for flashing you roms :(
