Which stock did you flash? The same problem happened to me, but then I flashed stock 2.3.5 XWKI8 > rooted with chainfire kernel > CWM Recovery > 18th build > 19th build and bam - phone started! Although I downloaded the build again and checked the MD5 to be sure.

But it is buggy as it only works half of the day! :p

As for releasing sources according to the GPL - haven't there been some lawsuits regarding that? Cisco comes to my mind, but not sure! Sorry for the almost off-topic.

I don't know if it is just my imagination, a coincidence or the real deal. But after flashing the LPJ modem my GPS locks immediately. I have always had a problem with endomondo as it wouldn't catch a satelitte but now it says GPS OK right away. Anyone else? Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

Think I solved it myself by resetting APN settings and then manually changing the mms port in the APN settings! Why in the name of all living things do I recieve automatic settings with a wrong port? Oh well...

A quick logcat shows me this: That might be a problem.

mms problem I know this probably has been answered, but I'll take the shot and ask again as I couldn't find anything will the search. My MMS doesn't seem to work at all - I have cleared and restored the APN settings according to my carriers (Telenor) information. But that doesn't seem to help...
