Read up a couple of posts, where I corrected myself. You can tell from the word "EDIT". I have used both CF Auto Root and the Saferoot method in the past, I most humbly beg your forgiveness for my egregious error. Sent from my SGH-M919 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

    Post KitKat Official 4.4 update "M919UVUFNB4" BASEBAND/Modem/FIXED FIRMWARE/ROOT/

Yes, you can root and install custom recoveries. However, installing a custom recovery will trip the KNOX flag, so keep that in mind. Rooting using CF Auto Root will not trip the flag though EDIT: CF Auto Root does in fact trip KNOX. I posted a link a little further down for a method of rooting...

    Post Angry Birds Go

Rooting in itself is fairly novice-friendly, there are many wonderful guides in the development forum. Using root access to make changes is where you can run into trouble if you aren't careful. You CAN brick a device, but pulling/installing .apk files isn't likely to do so. The simplest way to...

Post How to Restore SGS4 SGH-M919 to Tmobile Factory

The OP said it removed all warranty flags. To me, that means it takes KNOX 0x1 and returns it to 0x0. What's the advantage in this process if it doesn't do that? Sent from my SGH-M919 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

    Post Knox and jump program

I'm not sure KNOX matters for Jump! because it's not a matter of warranty. Jump! is a program for getting new phones, not fixing or replacing existing phone because of defects/issues. I could very well be wrong though. Sent from my SGH-M919 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Post Successfully converted M919 to i9505G with stock recovery

Yeah, I should have. Of course, dropping $650 all at once isn't exactly feasible for everyone. If (and I don't know if this is the case) the hardware is identical, then it should be possible, the only question is how. Just asking if anyone has pulled it off. Sent from my SGH-M919 using XDA...
