so any idea why i can't boot into this rom? "setup wizard has crashed" everytime the phone boots into the rom... previous reply was "send log", but no clue how a log is expected when it can't even boot into the room... any clue what it could be? coming from lineage nougat, cricket wireless...

Has anyone successfully figured this out? Its been impossible for me to get out of marshmallow in my ze551kl (horrible battery life)... I copy the files as instructed in op into backtostock.zip, Factory reset, Flash zip, Reboots and loads into is then reboots and remains stuck in bootloop

i can't get this to boot on my ze551kl...just stays stuck forever on asus booting screen here is what i did: (coming from cm13) went into recovery wiped data/system/cache/dalvik (factory reset) installed the zip from OP rebooted....stuck any ideas? thanks

and what's your battery life looking like? i'm like most of the other replies in this thread, at 6 or so hours of light use i didn't have to use greenify on stock 5.0 rom and lasted a day with pretty frequent use and hotspot and i appreciate this is a port of cm13...i'm just thinking something...

what flavor of gapps are you guys using that aren't getting bad battery life? i have nothing installed besides gapps and the rom...

Trying that now. I used to be able to leave bluetooth on and it would have almost no effect on the battery. Now, with this rom at least, leaving bluetooth on just kills the battery when it's not even connected to anything. Am I maybe misinterpreting something? Or was there a change to how...

horrible battery

I installed a barebones rom. What concerns me is i had the same set up on my Galaxy S3 (5.1.1. lollipop with same apps), and the battery life on this zenfone has just been atrocious (leading me to believe 5.1.1 is not the problem, per se). Am I wrong, did they not optimize this phone properly...

so i just updated to latest OTA, 4.3, latest radio (problem existed previously as well) everything is stock, haven't rooted or unlocked anytime i try to download ANYTHING from the play store, it just says "downloading" and shows the status bar, but it never moves from there, never shows status...

any reponse to this?
