I've tested with Odyssey ROM with J500M and it's impossible to use the device after flash latest 2.0 kernel. Device freezes and restart every 10 seconds. Flashed v 1.6 again and had no issues at all.

I was using the latest 15.3 also, with the latest 5.5 manager. Forgot to mention that my device is a J500M in post, sorry. I have the zip downloaded so everytime I restart and looses root I have to flash it again. And thanks for the commit on the in call audio, you're an awesome Dev!

Latest release it's just a test one, I don't recommend you to install it as there is a SIM bug, it doesn't recognize the SIM at all. If you willing to install, download the build from 2017-09-16, this one is bugless, and have a stunning performance, no lags and around 9/8 hours of battery life...

If you check the title of this thread you will see that this variant of RR is for J500H only. All treads specify for which model the ROM is, so a quick search on J5 forums will let you to the right one for your device

I guess the error was that when you uninstalled Magisk it removed all root, including the SuperSU previously installed, and installing SuperSU again before rebooting it would give you root again. I'm glad that I was able to help you with this :D

Try this then, flash Magisk uninstaller, wipe Cache/Dalvik then right after flash SuperSU, wipe Cache/Dalvik again and reboot. If this doesn't work then I don't know how to help you further with. Maybe Dev could give you a help on it if not works.

Did you check your carrier network signal strength? It may vary depending on your location and if your signal is strong or weak.

Screenshot with 3 fingers swipe doesn't work on J500M

After several tries couldn't install this rom on my J500M. Downloaded the j5lte and I've used TWRP available for download and mentioned in OP but installation gives me Error: 7 saying that the source is not compatible to my device. Anyone could give me a light on this?

The rom was released only 6 days ago. Give time for developer to work on it, I'm sure he will post updates as soon as available and let's respect the forum rules not asking for ETAs.

You've posted this same issue and same image in another rom thread!? Apparently this issue has only happening with you and it's strange that you have same issue in different roms that uses different kernels and blobs. It will not help you at all if you post issues that you have for another rom...

I also have a J500M and had none of these problems. Have you done a clean installation? Wiped cache and system? I've installed formatting phone and making all 7 wipes and had no issues. Also which gapps did you used? I recommend you to use Nano Package.

That's what I thought, I liked this rom and I'm not thinking to get back to viper or so. Just posted about because think that a report was valid so developer can check about when have time to do so. Meanwhile I'll stay with the rom, overall it's a very smooth and stable one.

Indeed I tested with other ROMs and had no issues, Lineage 14.1, ViperOs and AOSP Extended had no issues at all, experience was smooth and using the same hw. Don't know which kernel to try with this rom, maybe OP can give us a hint on which one to test.

Not to be considered a bug but gaming experience is very laggy. A lot of black screens between gaming scene to play transitions and stuck commands. I only play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius though, and can only tell for this game. Maybe is the kernel or so, didn't tried another kernel in this room...

The ROM already have multi window feature. Go to the room customizations > buttons > hardware keys and select multi window in the recent key. You can set long touch or double touch for this feature.

There is also a bug with proximity sensor (DOZE), during calls, Skype calls, wave hand to show notifications DOZE doesn't work, during any call it keeps the screen on. It seams that DOZE it's not present in the ROM. Not a major bug but during calls it's kinda annoying.

Awesome, can't wait to have latest updates. This is one of my favorites and most stable nougat rom I've used so far :victory:
