    Same thing here. Came from BRG3 TWEAKED 3.7s(a) DB4. Flashed bootloader, re-booted into TWRP, flashed the rom ,wiped dalvik & cache, rebooted, bootloops. Re-flashed 3.7s(a) and booted OK. Re-flashed 3.8s, bootloops.

    I have to toggle it on & off after an upgrade, but otherwise it works for me. Mine is also on the dock next to my bed.

    I was thinking that using the old YAFFS code would eliminate this problem. The next thing I was going to try was a recovery that formatted using EXT4. Isn't that what Google switched to for GB?

    The smd stuff is because it used to call both v1 and v2 alloc, and as long as one succeeded, it was OK. Now it's ifdef'd to use different code depending on if CONFIG_MSM_SMD_PKG3 is set or not. Looks like the package 4 code is what works on heroc. With that change, the smd code works. [...
