Post Samsung ULTRA Debloat Script NO ROOT

I don't understand why (almost) everybody is claiming that That is simply not the truth. If using would be irrecoverable, then factory reset would not work because factory reset is nothing more than enabling existing locally (no need for internet connection) app. Exceptions are apps installed...

Just repeat this with watching movie over internet. That is what I did. Personally I found Netflix more demanding than youtube (full screen) Soufiansky Simply show your stats with whatever you think is difficult. Well, again: there is no such thing as "average use" that fits your profile. There are differences. The whole point of getting very good battery life/SOT is proper configuration. When I close app, it is really closed no running in background or foreground. This is not what happen when you just...

There you have it: uptime 7 days so no restart or any special preparation when getting screenshots. 6hrs 45min SOT with more than 100min video, 2hrs of wireless music, browsing, email weather. This makes S6 Edge quite usable in terms of SOT/battery life. Still with more that 24hrs on single...

This is heavy use more than facebook/mail/web. On the other hand it is ridiculous to tell someone what is typical use and what is not. No, services/wakelocks are not affected otherwise you would not get messages or mail. For example my email app is closed and will not run unless I start it. I am getting notifications that email arrived (means that services work) and then I start email app to read/write the email app is too...

shrug, his (paulyz's) point was that greenify drains battery. Well it does not if properly used. No point of using greenify if device is not rooted. There are other ways of system optimization although not so efficient. I am not sure what are you discussing? That is the whole point of greenify...

I don't see a reason to pay for S7 Edge upgrade to get less (without rooting) that I can get for free with rooted S6 Edge. Will wait for S8 Edge. Just root your phone and see how greenify works. I am getting much better SOT that you do ( you can search my previous posts) with greenify. If...

Yes, I'm on xtrestolite with greenify, amplify and prevent run (exposed module). In spite what users are saying greenify does not draw battery power. At least on rooted device. OK another one: this time with 4G, Bluetooth on and location on. As before I got 0% battery drain in 9hrs. It did drop after 10hrs to 99%. See attached screenshots. In addition deep sleep is at 87%. Nothing like this can be achieved with stock ROM.

    Post Battery Life Discussion Here

I doubt that with good 4G signal you would get any battery drain at all. On the other hand weak signal will cause power loss. In such case just switch to 3G instead of complaining that 4G sucks battery juice because weak signal will drain battery irrelevant of phone model. Same with WiFi. I see...

There are reasons that make KNOX useful (e.g. corporate environment), however if you do not care about Samsung Pay (I don't - android is way too insecure to give my card) then just kill KNOX/install custom ROM. Of course you will loose Samsung warranty too. This would be the other reason to...

I don't know if loosing 60% in 7hrs is normal. This will depend on signal strength, and what else you have been using. Not sure why you don't see chrome in shutapp. I would contact developer and ask.

You do not have to change anything, just install ShutApp https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yirga.shutapp&hl=en It will keep all apps that you closed really closed, e.g. after you close chrome, it will really not run and this way you will save on battery. You can setup any app...

This is not so hard to believe, I posted before 1d11hrs with 7:45min SOT. I bet that getting 10hrs of SOT with browsing and generally light use is possible. Of course this is far from one can get on S7 because of simple fact that battery of S7 is larger. So if you compare optimized S6 to S7...
