Hey there. I have bl version 5 and I know this is for 3 and below but I heard if you have safestrap you can use this. Is there a workaround? Really want to try this.

This Rom used to have a list of mods listed. What happened to them? I can't get to the Dolby atmos instructions or downloads for the life of me.

A big probem help? So I tried this on my s8+ and didn't realize it was for an s8 and my phone is screwed up. So I tried to go back into root explorer and delete that line and it seems it won't delete that line because the problem conitinues and when I go back into root explorer it still shows...

Whatever anybody does....don't uninstall chrome. It messed everything up and I had to reflash.

Yes I was in the wrong forum. Thanks for the info. I used chat alot with ya on the telegram s8+ channel. Did you ever root yours? What allows the S8+ to be able to go back to nougat using the safestrap/samfail method? I was under the impression the phones were very similar hardware/software...

The guys from one of the safestrap root threads are saying I can get back to nougat as long as I am not past v5 bootloader. Have you heard anything about this?

Sucks so bad. Ive held off that update since i bought it and woke up in the morning to 8.0. Just paid it off also. Now its not even worth that much. Definitely my last flagship and last Samsung.

Will this work if i'm on Oreo v3 bootloader if I upgrade to v5 bootloader? I can't find a clear answer.

I was on nougat until the other night i believe my dog stepped on the update button because it comes up all the time and i usually ignore it. I want to get back to nougat(phone is unuseable on oreo)and root so this never happens again. I just paid it off also. Please give me a hand...

I have major issues with my SD card reader on the s8. Had issues with the note 4 and 5 and the s5. I've tried all brands of cards so I've isolated it to ****ty Samsung card readers.

I'm not sure about that. I had the same thing happening on s8 and +. I'm trying to remember how I fixed it.

It's very possible as I have seen a high number of issues with USB 3.0+ and they s8 series. Always try to use 2.0 with this phone. Ive had 2 s8+ have their charging port trying to tether threw 3.0. Had to send them both in. I haven't fount the exact conflict yet but am working on it.

I've had Samsung phones since the s2 and I know for sure it's there phones not the ad cards. I've tried every brand and even my s8+ burns them up. I've called sammy at least a hundred times over the years to no avail. Intermittent reading and all sorts,of issues. They all read fine on my pc...

Just buy the Samsung HDMI usb-c adapter and run Netflix that way. They market it as only working for the Samsung galaxy tab but I confirmed it working on s8+ with several tv's part #ee-pw700
