Mine took about 8 minutes.. After that, reboot back into Recovery again and applied the SHealth fix in TWRP. Then using the Home button to go back and install Magisk v12 again. After reboot, setup a few stuff and started downloading from Play Store. Halfway through, the phone rebooted by itself...

I personally prefer SuperSU since my time with HTC 8 till Samsung 8. Never have any major problems with it so far. But Magisk is actively being improved.
