    Post HD+ for 2018

Lineage 14.1 seems to be the latest option. Follow this thread, it worked quite well: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nook-hd/general/how-to-installing-ln14-1-internally-hd-t3562810 Lineage 14.1 (lnos_ovation-ota-NJH47F.180713.zip specifically), containing security patch level @ June 5,2018...

Thread Widevine L3 making non-stock tablet useless for streaming :(

We know that Netflix has disappeared form the play store for those of us running custom Roms, but there have been workarounds. What I have been unable to work around is Vudu. I suspect it is complaining of the Widevine L3 (no root but unlocked bootloader automatically sets to L3), but it has...

Post [6.0.x] [SM-T320] CyanogenMod 13.0 Nightlies for the Tab Pro 8.4 Wifi (mondrianwifi)

Who knows. I've learned not to wait for or expect them. I'm happily running Sep 12 build with absolutely zero noticeable problems.

Post Cyanogenmod 13.0 Official [Android M] Released!

I've been running the Jan 27th CM13 nightly without any issues whatsoever. I've yet to find a reason to move to a newer build.

Post Sandisk Extreme cards? Can't get mine to recognize.

I bought a Samsung Pro+ 32GB card and that didn't work either. Clean flashed the final CM12 snapshot, still doesn't like either card. Old card (Sandisk class 4) continues to work fine. Absolutely nothing in logcat for either of the U3 cards. It is as if nothing is being inserted into the tablet...

Post Sandisk Extreme cards? Can't get mine to recognize.

I did try that formatting utility. dmesg shows nothing applicable, and logcat does absolutely nothing when that SD is inserted. When putting in my old SD card I get the typical flurry of activity of detecting, mounting, etc.

Post Sandisk Extreme cards? Can't get mine to recognize.

Found the SDSDQX-032G-A46A for $20 at BestBuy, as well as the SDSDQX-064G-A46A for $40. I print them both out from the website and drive to the store - where we pull up the website and the pricing has changed back to $80 & $150.. They wouldn't honor the printouts. What a great company. Google...

Post Sandisk Extreme cards? Can't get mine to recognize.

Android never even had it listed as a device, so even kicking a format via CLI wasn't an option. Everything tests ok on the PC, but something clearly isn't right. Back it goes. :(

Post Will the CM12.1 nightlies eventually lead to a stable build?

I believe all the Release level builds are now labeled as Snapshots. https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=snapshot On CM's site, the last build ever labeled "stable" was CM10.2, in early 2014. https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=stable

Thread Sandisk Extreme cards? Can't get mine to recognize.

32GB UHS-1. I can't get mine to work, whether formatted fat32 or ntfs via PC. Tablet 8.4 simply doesn't recognize it. My older sandisk 32GB class 4 disk works just fine. Anyone else have issues with the UHS rated cards?

I think your issue was solely with the size of the SD. Mine was 32GB. Hopefully they'll have that fixed for you eventually. Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk

    Post [ROM][MOST VARIANTS][6.0.1][Unofficial] CyanogenMod 13.0 Nightly Builds

My vs980 ran best after a fully clean flash. Any of my attempts at dirty flashing caused the system to be unusable. That said, it has been pretty good, with the exception of the charging issue that is popping up on multiply devices. Hey, it is extremely early in the development process - I'm...

Post [6.0.x] [SM-T320] CyanogenMod 13.0 Nightlies for the Tab Pro 8.4 Wifi (mondrianwifi)

You can force it via the CLI, but I don't know the long term ramifications of doing so. I have done this successfully on my tablet it worked extremely well, but my class4 SD card was so slow it caused everything to lag. It will warn you if the card is too slow. Enable the local terminal & root...

Post [6.0.x] [SM-T320] CyanogenMod 13.0 Nightlies for the Tab Pro 8.4 Wifi (mondrianwifi)

Once I told the system not to fully sleep when charging, it is mostly operational for me. I am keeping CM13. Battery issue is a nuisance, not a deal breaker.

I see the "Charging slowly" prompt as well - on multiple devices running CM13. 12.1 shows correctly so I know it isn't the charger or cable causing a problem.

    Post [ROM][CM12.1][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 12.1

I was running 10-25 (from a completely clean install) and it was running pretty well. I let it auto-flash 10-26 and it wouldn't boot - stuck on the LG logo. Re-flashed 10-25 and it still won't boot. Y'all be careful. I wound up having to do a full wipe of all partitions & a reinstall of 10-25...

    Post [ROM][NOOKHD/HD+][EMMC] UNOFFICIAL CM12.0 NookHD/HD+ (LP 5.0.x) [2015-02-17]

This is working pretty well on Ovation! I wasn't able to get it fully operational with the latest TWRP (20141229) due to a format bug, so I backed down to 2.7.something (20140729). Did a complete wipe (everything but SD card), and it installed great. Had been bouncing from CM11, back to CM10...

0126 looks great! Boot animation fills the entire screen, and the CM updater doesn't crash loop anymore. Geekbench: 930/2709 Notes: - after every boot, the 2nd screen has no icons until pushing the button that shows all icons - then my 2nd screen has icons again. Easily manageable, merely a...

Post [Q] Install Errors: [Kitkat] CM11 Android 4.4 for the Droid X

Having installed CM targa, toro, vs980 and ovation, I'm no stranger to CM. The Droid X appeared to be finicky about the order in which TWRP is installed. Initially I skipped the CWM step and installed it directly and CM11 wouldn't fully flash even though I could get to TWRP. SBF reset it to the...
