Yeah I'm sad to say I started with iPhone all the way up to 5s? Then I switched to Notes but didnt like the old Samsung launcher so I would use a aosp rom until there new launcher came out and now I cant ever find anything to really complain about Samsung phones unless there exploding lol.

Yeah I got mine through a flook in just search on Amazon for exynos note 8 and went with the highest rated one at the time and it was on sale at the time think it was like 500.00 so I couldn't pass it up

The detonator worked on the other versions to. I got the csc option with the other versions to I always have to select btu csc to get the wifi calling features since mine is orginally xsg 950f-ds Yeah only issue is the reboot thing but easy enough to refresh lol I just didn't want to wait for...

yup odin unless you have an exynos model then you could use the tekhd detotnator which converts it to att or tmobile

i have the same model and i took the ota and never had any oem issues with any custom roms but even with that being said i still used the patch in the rom installer just on the safe side.

You have to wait till updated unlocked firmware with same boot loader as the new one

I looked on Sam's firmware website they don't have any any QJA firmware unless I'm looking in wrong spot pulled up all note 8 variants and nothing.

stay away from tmobiles QJA update it stops you from being able to switch firmwares

after update i cant convert to an unlocked firmware

keep the download mode key combonation held down it will eventually go back to that

for some reason its just hangs up after loading loading all files in odin when i hit start nothing happens redownloaded firmwares twice and tried both odins i know im not crazy cuz ive already done one att note to the unlocked firmware lol im just at a loss.
