Well I updated successfully however the security patch is still old should be be alarmed? What do I need to update because the software update says I'm up to date (like bra8 said)

What I am saying is when I update to the latest firmware will I then be able to receive ota updates or will I have to go Samfirm again?

When I downgraded to bra8 it was on security patch Jan 1 when I update it says device is up to date and I know for a fact there is a bra9 any thoughts?

When do I do the system wipe after I downgrade or while I'm oreo wipe and then downgrade?

Everytime I flash cm based rom it doesn't scan media at all and is laggy I'm still on ob7 if that makes a difference I've tried multiple versions same result laggy and not reading media in gallery thoughts??

So do i just flash a untouched rom back it up then go into twrp/backup/ then post the file?
