I use the TelsaUnread Plugin for mine.

Try to go into recovery mode and do a wipe system then apply the update from SD "update.zip".

Mine did that as well for months. My last update was when I bought the phone back in Nov. I did the update.zip method and used Smart Switch to backup all to MicroSD card.

Well then I think I'll wait. It's pointless to wipe everytime.. My backups don't even save my unique keys for my authentication apps.

I have 3 Stock OEM cables. I'l try the unopened one. I don't think it's a cable issue because I transferred a 4GB file to the SD card with no issues. I'll try it though.
