Update to MM and do a factory reset right after and restart your phone, should be smooth sailing after a couple of charges.. No lag or batt drain here

First charge without the facebook-app and managed 30 mins more as usual! Not complaining! Guess it works, just add a shortcut from the built in internetbrowser and you're all set. Disable Chrome too though!

On V20D right now and it's fast as hell! The update is an easy one, no scary things unless you detach the USB before it's finished ? Just download the KDZ and LGUP, insert the KDZ file and press update and let it run, can't get easier than that bud ?

Yes, have to admit that the G4 has less stutters and is faster with opening apps, videos, pictures and the camera is on another level.. I think it has to do a lot with the 810 processor, the Moto X Style I had before had a 808 aswell and didn't have any stutters on that either. Check out this...

Screen of the G2 was the best in that time it was sold, still think it's blazing fast and with the right ROM, very batteryfriendly! Good choice for a spare phone, just be sure to take the 32Gb version ;)

I was fed up with the little issues/stutters with the phone, also I liked a little bigger screen and a better camera with more options and a screen to match the quality. Had a G2 before this, so I'm pretty much, back home again with the software too ;)

I'm thinking the same thing, either swapping it or selling it for either a 6P or a G4 (or even my previous Moto X Style I swapped for this device) They need to fix and improve a lot of stuff for the device for me to keep it..

I'm in holland and haven't seen this update you guys are talking about, I guess we're getting the MM update in Januari (praying this happens) and skipping this one (which if I'm correct, doesn't bring any big changes anyway)

Batterylife is great for me, stamina is always on, sometimes playing games, mostly social media, YouTube and all.. Wifi or 4G on during the day, depending of my whereabouts.. Never had this batterylife with any other phone though, very impressed! Now at 6,5 hrs SOT at almost 24 hrs standytime...

Just giving my experience and thoughts, bit strong? Apologies! And I didn't say anyone owns me anything, just being honest about it, I know full well what I'm doing when I'm flashing a new kernel or ROM.

Got the exact same problems with 4.7.2. , just installed the 4.8. update, but seems ok.. for now... Normally I would have that with every new install and then after a couple of hours, my phone would slow down, lags, stutters, or not react at all.. Looking forward to a good and fast, reliable...

I would stick to the built-in kernel, Dori's kernel bogs down my system and makes it less responsive, lags and stutters, but the default kernel that comes with the ROM is fine. 3.2 had some issues, but now after I installed 3.3 all is working fast, bugfree and I have no battery drain at all...

Didn't go for the v30b update from LG, just stayed on CM12 nightlies (LP 5.0.2) Updates whenever you want, it's customizable and has the profiles, which I cannot do without anymore I think..

I'm on CM12 Lollipop with the daily Nightlies... Works great for me, no bugs and very smooth. Battery is great, as you can stop the waking up of the phone in advanced privacy settings, which makes me have the phone on for 2 days without any issues. Well worth the flash, I'm not flashing...

I stopped using Dori's kernel due to lags and stutters in the typing department, which is something I can get wildly annoyed about. Battery use was about the same imho as the kernel in the ROM Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Free mobile app

It does so on the G3 aswell, so I guess that's a standard thing.. I've clean installed the 1.4 version and had 0% problems sofar, very good build and batterylife is great too on standard kernel! Not going to go flash anything else anymore, this one is the bomb for me! Thanks DEV's!!

I totally agree! No issues AT ALL and the animations are very pleasing for the eye! And the ROM is fast as hell too without comprimising the battery! This build is VERY nice and I'm done with changing to another ROM to be honest.. Thanks goes out to the Ehndroix-crew! :good:
