Right. I rarely use GPS in daily use. But for the times when I do require it, I enable GPS for that period. I am going to enable Location Access with only GPS option for the next few days and see if my problem returns.

Its been dramatically better since the reset. Here's the GSAM screengrabs. My usage has not been very heavy last 2 days so not sure I'm out of the woods yet, but my discharge rate has reduced dramatically. Still too much being eaten by Google IMHO.

Mine is not the C636. Its the C185. Service center returned the unit, wiped clean with a B158 build. So much ado about nothing there.

Here is what I had. I had given it in to the service center for repair, and they basically just wiped it clean and returned it to me with the same build B158. Have just built the data content back slowly, using their Hsuite. Fingers crossed. Here are the GSAM screenshots from before the wipe.

Yes. Absolutely no difference. Then suddenly for one night it would sleep like the perfect child. 1% drop all night. Next mid-morning starts getting real needy again. I really dont need another kid at this age ;););)

Read through the thread .. tried everything ... and nothing worked for me. My SOT was between 1-2 hours at best and total usage time was as low as 10 hours. Was losing as much as 15%/hour while screen was off and sometimes it would not doze for up to 80% of the time... couldn't see anything...

I had the same issue with lines on the top and bottom. Its a stock 818P bought in the UAE from a retailer. Took it to LG service, they swapped out the screen in an hour, no questions asked.

SharafDG and Lulu are both recognized chains in the UAE. Sharaf is primarily an electronics store while Lulu is a general hypermarket. You can also try Jumbo electronics, they will also carry the unit. I believe they are all accepting pre-orders, with deliveries starting June 06.
