You posting it here for everyone to download versus someone signing up for Google+ and going through the entire hassle of joining beta program just to download an app has literally exactly the same results. You'd be doing a lot of people a favor; not everyone wants Google+
You basically answered your own question. It's not needed anymore *because* we can now manually control ISO and shutter speed.
"Don't include features, people will complain. Include those features, people will complain."
Yes, this is true. They throttle you if you use a lot of data. I ran a speedtest with my coworker, also on Sprint Spark, his speeds were 5x faster than mine.
I don't understand why you can't just google the information you're looking for
Not only will it be faster but you'll probably get more accurate/less biased information too
It's a standard Linux hosts file. All you need to do is define localhost.
sudo rm /etc/hosts
sudo touch /etc/hosts
sudo echo "127.0.0.1 localhost" >> /etc/hosts
As far as I can tell this just bypasses the check to see if tethering is enabled on your plan. Can't they still tell that the data traffic is tether traffic? After all it does show up under mobile data as "Tethering and hotspot"
This is not going to improve battery life in the slightest. You might be running a lower resolution but all the pixels are stilled turned on. The lower tax on the GPU is negligible.
You're not supposed to conpletely uninstall system apps when on stock rom. This will result in security errors (os checks its system files to see if it's been tampered with) and then refuse to boot. This is not specific to the G4 but almost all LG devices
I completely agree. I know thecubed et al. said a long time ago that they were delaying to make the root more "user friendly" but this is already easy enough and i don't see any reason that they didn't just release it like this ages ago. If someone can't do basic terminal operations then...
Hah, a day after someone else announced they had rooted the device, these guys rush a release so they can claim the bounty first. Classic
Either way, I'm glad this is finally available. Do you still need a system.img dump for Sprint? I can get that to you now.
I was able to log in without issues but I couldn't search for photos. There was simply no search button or search option like in all the screenshots. Was super confused
-Turn screen off
-Put finger anywhere on screen
-Without releasing, swipe down
-Release finger
Is that right? I've tried about 10 times and I'm getting nothing. Is there a setting to enable/disable this somewhere? I might have disabled it by mistake
Doesn't seem to work for me...
Is it double tap then swipe? I'm trying all sorts of tapping combinations and nothing interesting is happening, other than the screen turning on as normal when you double tap
What touch screen issues are you having? You need to elaborate. A video would also help. I've had my Sprint G4 for about a month now and I don't know what these "touch screen issues" are that everyone is complaining about.
