It is using a stock rom, but it is in download mode. May I ask what device you have?

You need to install Odin on your PC and flash a stock rom.

Hey me2151, thanks so much for the root method! I have no U2 in my baseband and August patch, however, when rooting, after failing in Odin, it hangs in download mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for this!

I do not have U2 :D in my firmware, but everytime I flash, I get left on Downloading... even after odin says fail. :confused:
