brother i used open gapps pico version. rom didnt boot. also i tried to flash the rom zip only and boot up the phone but still rom didnt boot. i also want to mention that i tried nightly cm12.1 latest from official site. that was not booting also

You may not access adb after doing tha, but fastboot is available. You can connect to pc and install stock firmware by doing that. Restart your phone into fastboot and check if the pc is showing you same "qhsbulk_usb" device. Also tell me the version of your pc windows.

On the black screen you get fastboot mode. On pc, you need to install the drivers. Google qhusb_bulk drivers installation and follow the instructions. After installing the drivers, you will get fastboot and adb. Installing custom recovery doesn't affect this. Hit thanks button if i helped. :)

There is a serious bug. wifi goes to sleep automatically when screen is off. Always on wifi setting is also enabled but still it getting the problem.

get the latest twrp recovery. and follow the exact steps mentioned in the original rom thread. You should install it then successfully.

this is the feature of stock roms of cyanogenmod devices. It doesnt work on moto e. Devices which have native installed cyanogenmod os like Yureka or Yuphoria cone with stock cyanogen recovery. When updated, the recovery is also updated.

you can always root it with the general methods. like u did earlier. Or download pre rooted optimized version.

you are currently seeing stock recovery in which u see dead android man. Try installing any custom recovery like TWRP.
