Probably it is a new app that you have installed recently or an update or an app. Try to reset the phone in safe mode, if the problem persist is a system app problem. If you don't want to reset the phone try re-flashing the last kdz and if it doesn't work do a factory reset.

Recovery is included in boot_a, boot_b in system A/B phones which the LG G7 has. It is included there so phone can update without needing a reboot.

No problem to transfer files with my G7 with 3.0 cable. Try reinstalling LG drivers. Sometimes drivers are not well installed and problems like this happen.

Try reflashing stock firmware through LG UP or LG Bridge update error handler. This should solve any bad installation of the firmware.

You can have the option in the developer settings, but if the official LG website doesn't provide the unlock.bin file for your model (it's the case) you can't unlock the bootloader.

Have you disabled some speech app, if you disable the motor syntethiser of google it won't work well. I had this issue and reenabling/reinstalling the app solved the problem.

I get this extra brightness mode without beeing in autobrightness. It is activated using more saturated colors I think, or that is what I see when I am in direct sunlight. You will percive it better in whatsapp and if you want to know if it is working just cover the top of the phone with the hand.
